PROJECTILE
A projectile including a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section being snapped together at a snap together interface having a pressure angle of at least 75 degrees. The first section and the second section forming at least one cavity therebetween, with a payload contained in the cavity.
Optimized subsonic projectiles
Various embodiments of optimized subsonic projectiles are provided. For example, one exemplary subsonic projectile can include an elliptical nose cone, a cylindrical body and a boattail with various design features that can be used in a subsonic ammunition cartridge where the subsonic projectile is stabile throughout at least a segment of a flight allowing for better accuracy, maintaining low drag, maximizing range and achieving desired performance while ensuring the projectile stays below the speed of sound and lowering a noise profile of projectile and a launcher firing the projectile.

Monolithic bullet
A monolithic bullet has a tapered nose and a cylindrical shank. The shank has a sealing boss, a groove, a case alignment boss, and a bore riding surface. The case alignment boss is adjacent the nose and has a diameter greater than the nominal groove diameter of a rifle barrel of the same caliber as the bullet. The groove is adjacent the sealing boss and has a diameter less than the nominal groove diameter of the barrel. The case alignment boss is adjacent the groove and has a diameter approximately equal to or less than the nominal groove diameter of the barrel. The bore riding surface has a diameter approximately equal to the nominal bore diameter of the barrel.

Non-pyrotechnic aerial display system
A non-pyrotechnic aerial display system may include a launcher configured to launch a non-pyrotechnic aerial display apparatus. The apparatus may include a head portion and a wing portion. The head portion may include a front portion, a rear portion, and a plurality of channels extending from the front portion toward the rear portion. The wing portion may extend rearward from the head portion. The wing portion may include a top surface, a bottom surface, a leading edge, a trailing edge, a rear edge extending from the leading edge to the trailing edge, and an airfoil extending along the leading edge. The wing portion may include a counterweight. The apparatus may include one or more forward-facing lights. The apparatus may include one or more rearward-facing lights. Other examples may be described and claimed.

Projectiles for ammunition and methods of making and using the same
A projectile 1 for ammunition is disclosed, said projectile 1 comprising an outer profile geometry on an ogive-shaped impact end portion 5 thereof, said outer profile geometry comprising two or more notches 2 extending in at least one of (i) an axial, (ii) parallel or (iii) slightly inclined orientation relative to a dissecting axis 3 extending longitudinally through said impact end portion 5 of said projectile 1, wherein each notch 2 (a) comprises notch surface portions 4,7 so as to increase (i) an overall outer surface area of said ogive end portion 5 of projectile 1, and (ii) a given length of an outer surface periphery Sp extending along a line within a plane normal to said dissecting axis 3, and (b) is surrounded by an outer side surface 51 of said ogive-shaped impact end portion 5 of said projectile 1. In other words, the presence of the two or more notches 2 increases a length of an outer surface periphery Sp extending along a line within a plane normal to said dissecting axis 3 relative to the same outer surface periphery Sp extending within the same plane normal to said dissecting axis 3 when a notch is not present.
