System for remote administering of medical chemicals to unrestrained animals
A pellet having a convex shaped front includes a plurality of radially disposed surface slots. The concave shaped rear portion has a matching number of surface ribs that can be frictionally attached to the convex portion's slots. The pellet is constructed of a combination of medical compounds along with appropriate binders and other compounds that are pressed together under high pressure to produce a rigid mass capable of being propelled at high speeds and to pierce the skin of an animal or person where the compounds can be dissolved when contacting the internal liquid portion of the animal or person. The pellet can be loaded and propelled by a standard air rifle, gun, or pistol.

PYROTECHNIC DRIVE DEVICE
A pyrotechnic drive device includes a housing (3) provided with a combustion chamber (5) having pyrotechnic material (15) as well as an activation device (13). The combustion chamber is delimited at least in an initial state on all sides by combustion chamber walls (3, 7, 13, 17, 33, 35) formed in at least one partial region by respective pressure-receiving surface or respective pressure-receiving element (17, 35). Each pressure-receiving impact of a pressure-receiving element (17, 35) is impacted after the activation of the pyrotechnic material (15) in such a way by the gas pressure generated in this manner that the pressure-receiving element (17, 35) is moved and/or deformed (17, 35) and/or a mechanical impulse is thus transmitted via the pressure-receiving element (17, 35) to an element to be driven (19) so that a connected substance (25) is transmitted. The residual volume of the combustion chamber (5), in which no pyrotechnic material (15) is provided in the initial state, is filled with a liquid, a gel-like or pasty filling material (21), and/or a soft, rubber-like material.
Projectile
This invention relates to a non-lethal projectile to be fired using a paintball gun, and more particularly, but not exclusively, to an aerodynamic non-lethal projectile which is used for marking, inhibiting or administering medicinal or other chemical substances to live targets. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a projectile comprising a body shaped to receive a capsule containing a substance, the body having a stabilizing member connected thereto for stabilizing the projectile in flight when the projectile is discharged from a weapon, and an annular member connected to the stabilising member at a rear end of the projectile for positioning the projectile relative to the weapon and relative to other projectiles to be discharged by the weapon.

Dart syringe projectile
A dart syringe projectile includes a tubular body front and rear ends and a bore extending between said ends. A needle assembly is mounted on the body front end and a tail assembly is mounted on the body rear end. The body bore or the tail assembly receives a striker, a percussion cap positioned in front of the striker, an explosive charge positioned in front of the percussion cap and a plunger positioned in front of the explosive charge. A reservoir cavity in front of the plunger receives a substance for injection. The dart syringe projectile has a flight configuration with the substance in the reservoir cavity and an injection configuration with the plunger propelled forwardly by the explosive charge and the substance discharged from discharge ports in the needle, which are in spaced relation behind a needle tip.

BALLISTIC DELIVERY METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INJECTABLE FORMULATIONS
A system and method of humanely dosing a human or animal with a formulation at a distance. A system capable of dosing a recipient with a formulation having a mass between 10 and 500 grains propelled at low-to-medium ballistic velocities (300 to 800 feet per second) and with medium-to-long range ballistic accuracy (10 to over 100 yards) without causing serious physical harm to, nor the death of, the recipient.

Dart and dart retainer
The invention relates to a dart (10) comprising a body, the body defining a chamber (24) having a plunger located therein to operatively deliver a substance through a hypodermic needle (32) extending through a front end of the body, and a retainer comprising a barb body locatable on the hypodermic needle (32) characterised in that the barb body is threaded. The invention further relates to a dart retainer, wherein the retainer comprises of a threaded barb body locatable on a hypodermic needle (32) of a dart (10).
