Autonomous vessel for unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) carrier operations

An autonomous vessel comprises a hull. The hull contains a plurality of subsystems. The subsystems comprise a sensor subsystem configured to sense potential target information regarding a potential target, a database subsystem configured to store target characterization information, a processing subsystem coupled to the sensing subsystem and to the database subsystem, and an ordnance subsystem. The processing subsystem is configured to process the potential target information according to the target characterization information to confirm the potential target as being a confirmed target. The ordnance subsystem comprises an ordnance magazine configured to store ordnance, the ordnance deliverable by an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV). The ordnance is deployable against the confirmed target.

A buoyant energy device is disclosed. Differing specific gravities between various materials are used to drive turbine blades to create energy by cycling the materials through a turbine activation area. The materials include water, oils, gasses (lighter than air and ambient air), or various other materials as circumstances may require. The device produces electricity that may be stored or used immediately. It is contemplated that the device could be used to power a missile, a torpedo, static mines, or the like.

Extended range support module

An extended range support module for an undersea vehicle includes an outer hull capable of accommodating the undersea vehicle therein. A navigation module is positioned on the outer hull and capable of being joined to the undersea vehicle. Controllable fins are provided on the outer hull and joined to allow control by the navigation module. A buoyancy control system is positioned within the outer hull and joined to the navigation module. An extended fuel tank is provided inside the outer hull between the outer hull and the undersea vehicle. The extended fuel tank is joined to provide fuel to the undersea vehicle. The navigation module can have GPS, inertial sensors, and sonar sensors to aid in navigation.
