An object-sorting apparatus includes a housing that extends from a top end to a bottom end, at least one vibration element, and a plurality of stages arranged in a vertical sequence in the housing between the top end and the bottom end. At least one of the stages includes a sorting base that at least partially defines a floor of the at least one stage. The sorting base is coupled to the at least one vibration element, and is configured to receive thereon a mixture of objects having different sizes, including a target size associated with the at least one stage. The stage also includes apertures defined in and extending through the sorting base and into flow communication with a next lower stage. The apertures are sized to receive therethrough, from the mixture, objects having a size smaller than the target size associated with the at least one stage.

An apparatus for correcting an aberration in a bullet casing's neck, the apparatus incorporating a support frame; a collet chuck and collet sleeve combination whose collet chuck presents a circumferential array of jaws having longitudinal ends, wherein the collet chuck further has a throat extending longitudinally from the jaws' longitudinal ends; a bullet ogive centering annular land fixedly attached to or formed wholly with the collet chuck, the bullet ogive centering annular land being positioned at an oppositely longitudinal end of the throat; rotatable mounting conical bearings and bushings which attach the collet chuck and collet sleeve combination to the support frame; and a turn wheel connected operatively to the collet chuck and collet sleeve combination.

The invention disclosed is an ammunition cartridge case dryer for use in the cleaning, drying and reloading of ammunition cartridge cases. It comprises an upper housing, a base, means for forcing air into a hollow space defined by the upper housing and base, an array of cups or nozzles that are located on the upper surface of the dryer and are adapted to receive a wet cartridge case. The nozzles have apertures in communication with the hollow space such that air can be expelled through said nozzles into said cases for quick drying.

The invention disclosed is an ammunition cartridge case dryer for use in the cleaning, drying and reloading of ammunition cartridge cases. It comprises an upper housing, a base, means for forcing air into a hollow space defined by the upper housing and base, an array of cups or nozzles that are located on the upper surface of the dryer and are adapted to receive a wet cartridge case. A ram with a multi-axis, multi-directional “self-centering shell holder” having predetermined spacing with respect to its engagement with the shell holder so that the shell holder supporting the cartridge case has the ability to deviate from the ram centerline in any direction to re-align with a centerline of the die bore is provided. The present invention also provides a retaining clip with push down tab allowing for quick insertion and removal of the self-aligning shell holder from the ram top.

A ram with a multi-axis, multi-directional “self-centering shell holder” having predetermined spacing with respect to its engagement with the shell holder so that the shell holder supporting the cartridge case has the ability to deviate from the ram centerline in any direction to re-align with a centerline of the die bore is provided. The present invention also provides a retaining clip with push down tab allowing for quick insertion and removal of the self-aligning shell holder from the ram top.

An ammunition press for manufacturing or reloading ammunition cartridges. The ammunition press includes a slide bearing about which the ram of the ammunition press moves to provide smooth operation of the ammunition press. A configurable spent primer system is provided to enable a user to select how they want to collect spent primers or other debris from the ammunition press. According to a user's preference, the ammunition press can also be customized to provide a cam-over or non-cam-over sensation as the user operates the ammunition press. A light is integrated with the ammunition press for illuminating a shell holder that holds the ammunition shells (sometimes called cases). Components of the ammunition press and associated methods are also disclosed.

A precision ammunition cartridge reaming device employs a body die having an interior cavity into which an ammunition cartridge is insertable through a first end. A reaming tool rotationally powered is insertable into the interior cavity through a second end. Rotation of the reaming tool trims the interior of a neck area of the ammunition to form a concentric surface with the exterior thereof. The distal edge of the cartridge may also be trimmed by the reaming tool to form each sequentially inserted cartridge to an equal length.
