High impact strength lighted nock assembly
A high impact strength lighted nock assembly for an arrow that is activated when the arrow is fired with a bowstring. The lighted nock assembly includes a nock molded from a high impact strength, transparent polymeric material containing at least 10% by weight reinforcing fibers. The nock includes a head configured to engage with the bowstring and a shank configured to couple with a rear end of the arrow. The shank includes a recess extending in a distal end of the shank toward the head. A light assembly including a light emitting device is located in the recess in the shank that is electrically coupled to a battery. A switch is electrically coupled to the light emitting device and the battery that is triggered when the arrow is tired to activate the light emitting device.

Projectile for a launching device
A projectile is provided. The projectile includes a shaft having a forward end and a rearward end. The projectile further includes a first fin component and a second fin component disposed proximate to the rearward end. At least one of the first fin component and the second fin component engages the other of the first fin component and the second fin component for securing the first fin component and the second fin component together. Another projectile includes a fin mount coupled to the rearward end of the shaft. The fin mount includes an extension extending away from the shaft with the extension defining a bore extending through the extension transverse to the shaft. The extension has a substantially cylindrical configuration and the aperture is adapted to receive a pin of a launching device for releasably securing the projectile to the launching device.

FLETCHING DEVICE
A fletching device (6) which is removably mountable on an arrow shaft, the fletching device comprising a body (60) which is engageable with an arrow shaft, and at least two vanes (66) attached to the body. The body is reversibly deformable such that a friction fit is provided between the body and an arrow shaft when the body is engaged with an arrow shaft. This allows the device to be easily and quickly removed and replaced on an arrow shaft.

Arrow or bolt having at least one light emitting element positioned off the center axis of the shaft of the arrow or bolt, and devices and methods for providing such an arrow or bolt
One aspect is an illumination assembly including: a first light emitting element; a first counterweight; and at least one of a nock or a connector configured to attach the illumination assembly to a nock, such that the first light emitting element and the first counterweight are positioned symmetrically from each other relative to the nock on opposite sides of the nock. Preferably the first light emitting element is substantially the same mass as the first counterweight. The illumination assembly can include a shaft of an arrow or bolt and/or include an adapter configured to attach to a shaft of an arrow or bolt, such that the first light emitting element and the first counterweight are collinear on a virtual line substantially perpendicular to the central axis of the arrow or bolt, and such that the first light emitting element is positioned off of the central axis of the arrow or bolt and configured to emit light in a rearward direction offset from the central axis of the arrow or bolt.

REDUCED LENGTH CROSSBOW
A crossbow including a center rail including a bottom portion, a proximal end, and a distal end positioned opposite the proximal end, the center rail at least partially defining a crossbow length and a midpoint plane intersecting a horizontal midpoint of the crossbow, a riser extending horizontally from the distal end, one or more limbs coupled to the riser, and a trigger extending from the bottom portion of the center rail and positioned within ten percent of the crossbow length from the midpoint plane.
Archery Vane Angle Tool
An aerodynamic element (often referred to as a vane or fletching) that is operatively coupled to the nock end (the back) of an arrow or similar projectile at an angle to the axis of the projectile is known to stabilize flight. This angle, known as offset or helical, in combination with the airflow generates both low and high pressures on different sides of the vane. This pressure difference imparts a torque around the projectiles primary axis which is one component to stabilizing the arrow's flight. Knowing the exact angle of this offset or helical of the vane to the axis of the arrow is critical to create an arrow with optimal performance. The illustrative tool allows the user to very accurately and precisely adjust a fletching jig to exactly the desired angle, as well as being able to setup multiple jigs with exactly the same setup.
