A non-electric device of initiation is proposed, converting initial mechanical pulses into firing force or stimulating an explosive transformation, usable for initiating explosive devices or any means involving sanctioned detonation or combustion. The proposed device includes an element provided with an axial through-channel in the form of an insert or being integral with a housing of an igniter, munition, or pyrotechnic device. An igniting composition may be positioned in the channel. The proposed device can be triggered by any mechanical impulse, such as a shock impulse, a percussive impulse, or a grating impulse. The proposed device is standardized so as to work with various explosive devices, pyrotechnic devices and igniting compositions, provides for high operational reliability, a high level of safety, a long useful life of the initiator, simple and safe production, and an optional capability to avoid the use of metal components and phosphorus compositions.

IGNITER WITH A DELAY TIME THAT CAN BE SET
20210389105 · 2021-12-16 ·

The invention relates to an igniter with a delay time (Vz) that can be set. The delay time (Vz) can be fixedly defined, or individually and situation-dependently set on-site. In particular, the invention relates to a delay time that can be set for a stun grenade, a hand grenade etc., with options for the individual setting and situation-dependent or situation-contingent customisation of the delay time (Vz), and consequently of the effect of the active compositions in-situ. In order to achieve individual setting options, the invention proposes that at least two different delay times (Vz) can be set. To this end, the igniter has, in a delay section, preferably in the fuse head, a relief bore that can be closed or opened.

DETONATOR AND MUNITION

The invention relates to a detonator, in particular for a detonation of pyrotechnics. The invention additionally relates to a munition having said detonator. The aim of the invention is to achieve a high degree of variability when using practice munitions in particular and other non-lethal munitions. This is achieved in that the detonator consists at least of a detonation transmitter, wherein the detonation transmitter is coated with a thin layer of an explosive. The detonation transmitter can be a shock tube without an explosive capsule.

Delayed trigger, pellet ejector, and simulated weapon

An example simulated weapon includes a delayed trigger and a pellet ejector. The delayed trigger includes a chamber and a piston slidable between armed and triggering positions. A spring biases the piston towards the triggering position. A locking member releasably locks the piston in the armed position. Release of the piston by the locking member causes the spring to move the piston from the armed position to the triggering position. The pellet ejector is coupled to the delay trigger to be triggered by the delay trigger in the triggering position. The pellet ejector includes a pressure chamber to receive a pressurized fluid and a pellet chamber to receive pellets. A valve is disposed between the pressure chamber and the pellet chamber communicates pressure from the pressure chamber to the pellet chamber. A barrel that extends through the pressure chamber is connected to the pellet chamber to eject the pellets.

FIRE-FIGHTING DEVICE
20230264054 · 2023-08-24 ·

Disclosed is a fire-fighting device, which includes a casing that delimits an inner cavity in which at least one dispersible fire-extinguishing agent is deposited, and pyrotechnics suitable for generating an explosion causing the casing to rupture and the fire-extinguishing agent to be dispersed. The pyrotechnics include at least one explosive charge, generating the explosion, and a detonator for triggering the explosion of the at least one explosive charge. The detonator includes an ignition device designed to trigger, when in an active state, the explosion of the at least one explosive charge, and an impact sensor designed to detect a mechanical impact received by the device and to bring the ignition device to the active state upon detection of the mechanical impact.

ELECTRONIC IGNITION UNIT FOR A STUN GRENADE AND STUN GRENADE

A diversionary device trigger mechanism is provided that can be repeatedly used, and which allows a primer or blank to be discharged in two different ways. The device includes a main body with a number of other components secured to the main body about an upper chamber and a lower chamber. A firing pin, a ball bearing, an anvil, a top retaining cap, and a plunger are secured about the upper chamber. A blank carrier, a primer or blank, and a carrier receiver are secured about the lower chamber. In the first way, the ball bearing can be displaced relative to the main body, such as by throwing the device towards a surface. In the second way, the plunger can be pushed down relative to the main body. If either of these occur, the firing pin to be moved downwardly to pierce and set off the primer or blank.
