Coreless-coil shock tube system with reduced noise
A shock tube package system and a method of deploying a shock tube package system is provided. The system includes a coreless bundle of shock tubing. The system further includes an outer covering disposed about the periphery of the bundle of shock tubing. The outer covering being made from a flexible or ela In an embodiment, the outer covering is made from a flexible or elastic material such as a textile.
Shaped Charge Retainer System
An apparatus and method for locking a detonating cord against a shaped charge.
Integrated loading tube
The present disclosure provides a loading tube to be used in a perforating gun. The loading tube is capable of securely engaging with shaped charges while maintaining the structural integrity and being made by injection molding.
Automated detonation of fireworks
A detonation wire has a firing module connector at one end and a firework connection assembly at another end. The firework connection assembly has a connector housing having a plurality of sections at least partially surrounding and defining an ignition chamber. The firework connection assembly also has one or more firework igniters positioned at least partially within the ignition chamber. A firework igniter is operable to activate an ignition element of a respective firework placed into engagement therewith. Other examples also are described.
Initiator head assembly
An initiator head assembly may include a body and an electrical contact component positioned proximal to the body. The body may include a head extending from a base, and a platform extending from the head, and the body may be injection molded as a unitary component. The electrical contact component may include a line-in portion positioned proximal to the platform and a ground portion positioned proximal to the head. The electrical contact component may be formed integrally with the body such that it is anchored in a fixed position in the body. An initiator for a perforating gun assembly may include the initiator head assembly and a shell coupled to the initiator head assembly.
Explosive detonating system and components
An explosive detonating system comprises connectable components to connect/disconnect a pathway that ignites an explosion. A firing actuator activates primers. An adapter connects the firing actuator to shock tube and channels the ignition force from the primers into the shock tube. A cap box houses blasting caps coupled to the end of the shock tube. A priming well is coupled to the cap box/blasting caps and detonating cord. When the firing actuator is initiated, the percussion caps ignite, sending an explosive jet of gas into the shock tube, which ignites an explosive liner. An explosive wave travels through the shock tube and activates the blasting caps, which activate the detonating cord in the priming well. The explosive is placed in a location to provide a desired explosive effect. For example, the system may be employed as a system to breach into structures, remove obstacles and/or barriers, or other applications.
PERFORATING GUN ORIENTATION SYSTEM
A perforating gun system may include a first gun carrier and a second gun carrier connected to the first gun carrier. A perforating gun assembly may be provided in each gun carrier, the perforating gun assembly including a top connector, a plurality of charge holders, and at least one bottom connector. Upon rotation of the top connector, the one or more charge holders of the first gun carrier may be aligned in a zero-degree phasing with the plurality of charge holders in the second gun carrier, and the position of the top connector may be locked along the length of the second gun carrier.
Apparatus and methods for disrupting/disabling explosive ordnance
Explosive devices may be formed from hollow members filled with explosive materials. The hollow members may be made of mating halves that are packed or loaded with explosive material prior to the mating halves being joined together. In some exemplary aspects, the hollow members are placed in fluid-filled containers such that the explosive reaction creates a wave of fluid that impacts a target. Components of the devices may be COTS items and items that may be manufacture with 3D printers.
PRIMING WELL FOR EXPLOSIVE DETONATING SYSTEMS

Perforating gun system with electrical connection assemblies
Components for a perforation gun system are provided including combinations of components that facilitate electrically linking multiple perforation guns to one another with wireless electrical contacts. The perforation gun system includes a bulkhead pin contact assembly. The perforation gun system may further include a wireless detonator and a conductor positioned in a connector of the perforation gun.
