Resilient mount gage tools
A gage tool having a stem and two concave curved ports adapted to fit snugly to the curved convex corners of a resilient mount facilitates easy and precise measuring of the resilient mount's alignment and snubber gap height.
QUILTING RULER, QUILTING RULER SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF USE
Embodiments of the present invention include a quilting ruler to facilitate home embroidery machine user's “quilting-in-the hoop” capabilities. This includes a thin, generally polygonal ruler with apertures for center marking, cross-hair marking, and size marking, as well as perimeters for edge markings to delineate fabric areas for quilting-in-the-hoop. The invention also includes a quilting ruler system with a plurality of such rulers of various dimensions and classes. Finally the invention includes a method of using the quilting rulers to map and extend quilting designs across a fabric area by selecting a quilting ruler, placing it on a fabric at a first fabric location, marking the fabric at the first fabric location through apertures, marking the fabric around the perimeter of the ruler, marking the dimension of the perimeter on the fabric, quilting at the first fabric location, and repeating these steps.
Modular gage system
A modular gage system includes a base plate having an array of holes and a coordinate system to identify each hole. The modular gage system further includes a plurality of risers and at least one form block. Each riser is assigned to a particular hole and the at least one form block is configured to be positioned atop one or more of the risers. Moreover, each form block is assigned to be located over a particular hole.
Template for electrical receptical cutout
A self-supporting template for an electrical receptacle cutout and method of using the template. The template includes a base plate with template openings, an upright on the base plate, a biased reciprocating push button, and at least one sharp. The push button is secured to the upright for transverse reciprocation between a biased first position spaced furthest from the base plate and a second position spaced closest to the base plate. The at least one sharp reciprocates concurrently with the push button wherein the distal tip is fully recessed when the push button is in the first position and protrudes a fully extended distance in the second transverse direction from the lower major surface of the base plate when the push button is in the second position.
MEASURING DEVICE AND A MEASUREMENT METHOD THEREOF
A measurement device and method that allows for precise placement, as well as more accurate measurement of various body parts, including vessels, lesions, and/or lumens of vessels of various body parts. The measurement device comprises one or more measurement tapes having (i) a plurality of measurement marks for measuring a distance and/or a length of a vessel and (ii) a plurality of circular indicators for measuring a diameter of a lumen of the vessel.
TEST INDICATOR
There is provided a test indicator 100 capable of replacing a stylus 210 with another stylus 210 having a different length to increase a reaching range of the stylus 210, and of increasing a rotation angle of the stylus 210 to display an accurate measurement value in a wide measurement range.
A calculation unit 400 of the test indicator 100 includes a stylus-length storage unit 420 that sets and stores a length of the stylus 210, and a stylus-length correction calculation unit 400 that changes, according to the length of the stylus 210, a conversion ratio for converting a detection value by an encoder 340 into a measurement value to correct the measurement value. The calculation unit 400 further includes a rotation-angle calculation unit 410 that calculates a rotation angle αs[rad] of the stylus 210 based on the detection value by the encoder 340 and an arc-chord error correction calculation unit 400 that multiplies a sine value using the rotation angle αs calculated by the rotation-angle calculation unit 410 as an argument to correct the measurement value.
MEASURING TOOL ATTACHMENT COVER
There is provided a measuring tool attachment cover that combines ease of holding and performance (for example, heat insulation). An attachment cover includes a front face layer 110, a rear face layer 120 and an intermediate layer 130. The front face layer 110 and the rear face layer 120 are compact layers with low porosity, and the intermediate layer 130 is a hollow structural layer with higher porosity than the front face layer 110 and the rear face layer 120. The hollow structural layer includes two or more layers with different porosity, and a layer of the two or more layers closer to the front face has higher porosity than a layer closer to the rear face. A direction from the rear face layer 120 to the front face layer 110 is a thickness direction, and a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction is a width direction. The hollow structural layer has elastic modulus distribution in the width direction, and an elastic modulus of a certain area is different from an elastic modulus of an area surrounding the certain area.
MEASURING INSTRUMENT
A measuring instrument includes a measuring unit, an electric component unit and a pin jack. The electric component unit includes a signal processing part. The signal processing part is configured to calculate a measurement data based on a detection signal obtained by the measuring unit. The pin jack is provided in the electric component unit.
Marking Jig for Locating Mounting Holes for Handles and Pulls
A jig assembly for marking a cabinet with hole positions that are needed to install hardware. The jig assembly utilizes a reference plate. At least one matrix of holes is formed through the reference plate. The holes are used to make markings at different positions and distances. The holes are preferably identified with scale indicia that provide visual indications as to the positions of each of the holes. Arms are attached to the reference plate with pivot connections. Marking holes are disposed through the arms. The arms can rotate and extend from the reference plate in opposite directions. A top plate is positioned across the top edge of the reference plate. The top plate creates a guide. A side plate is positioned across a side edge of the reference plate. The side plate creates a second guide that intersects the top plate at a perpendicular.
Combined Leveling and Measurement Tool for Piping Elements
The present invention relates to a one-piece structure tool for squaring and leveling pipes and flanges, and verifying the measurements of the same. The tool is designed as both a measurement tool and a leveling tool. The tool comprises two graduated arms connected in a V-shape (i.e., acute angle), each arm has s horizontal vial(s) and vertical vial(s) for maintaining horizontal and vertical level of the flange. The graduations are used for verifying measurement of flanges and other piping elements. In various embodiments, the arms have a length of one, two, or four feet. The tool is designed to save time, effort, and money when squaring, leveling and measuring materials such as pipe flanges, pipe fittings, and pipe elements.
