Apparatus for detecting irregularities in airfield markings
A gauge for verifying that an airfield's runway and taxiway markings are a specific size. It is a complete reference tool for assessing markings manually by a technician; that is a tool to help reduce the subjectivity of the assessment by the technician. The gauge is flexible and can be rolled or folded for transport. In order to make the gauge easier to use, the measurements are made using very specifically placed and sized slots that conform to ideal airfield markings. Graduation markings at the end of the slots help the technician determine the size of marking discrepancies.
Adjustable square
An adjustable square has a blade including a scale, a body, a slot formed in the body for movably receiving the blade, a locking mechanism operably engaged with the body for releasably securing the blade within the slot, and an indexing member operably engaged with the body and operably engaged with the blade. The indexing member indexes the body at precise locations along the blade. A method for indexing an adjustable square is also provided. The method includes positioning a body of the adjustable square at a precise known position and indexing, with an indexing member of the adjustable square, the body of the adjustable square at the precise known position.

TOOL WITH MULTIPLE MEASUREMENT MARKINGS
A tool with multiple measurement markings for use in assessing the depth and width of a hole or crevasse while gardening, landscaping, or performing other forms of excavation. The tool may also be used to measure distances on the ground or the height of various objects. The tool includes a handle with a tool attachment, such as a shovel or hoe blade, affixed to the proximal end of the handle. The tool has multiple lines of measurement markings across the front or back of the handle and attachment. These lines may start at the tip of the attachment and continue sequentially to the distal end of the handle. There may also be an additional line of measurement markings on the back of the handle with a starting point at the distal end of the handle. The attachment itself also may be marked with one or more lines of measurement markings on the front or back of the attachment.

CARPENTER SQUARE
A carpenter square including a triangular plate and a base. The base has a corner at an intersection of a first side and first end. The corner extends into a pivot notch defined in a first side edge of the plate. During use, the base’s corner may be placed on a side wall of a workpiece and the plate is pivoted about a pivot axis extending along the base’s corner. An angular measurement may be marked on the workpiece’s surface when a selected angle on the plate aligns with an edge of the workpiece that extends along an intersection of the workpiece’s surface and side wall. First and second regions of the plate extend outwardly beyond opposite ends of the base. Each of the first and second regions includes a distance measurement scale and the first region further includes one or more angular measurement scales.

Multi-use hammer
The hammer has a head and a handle which extends from the head. The head has at least two surfaces that face towards the handle and that lie in a common first plane. At least a portion of the handle extends linearly and perpendicularly from the first plane to allow a user to draw a straight line which is perpendicular to the first plane.
