NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for activation or cancellation of presentation of navigation directions by a navigation system for a vehicle user operating a vehicle includes: —comparing a navigation route with a plurality of stored road stretches, wherein the stored road stretches are classified as known to the vehicle user, —activating presentation of navigation directions associated to the navigation route when travelling on a road stretch not included in the stored road stretches, or —cancelling presentation of navigation directions associated to the navigation route when travelling on a road stretch included in the stored road stretches.
Driving analysis and instruction device
A racing coach device stores a first path of travel along a racetrack over a first time period and a second path of travel along the racetrack over a second time period. The racing coach device identifies, for each of a plurality of geolocations along the racetrack, one of the first path of travel or the second path of travel that is associated with a shorter duration of time over which the user traversed a segment of the path of travel associated with each of the plurality of geolocations. The device determines an optimal path of travel along the racetrack based on the identified first and second path of travel for each segment of the path of travel at each of the plurality of geolocations that results in a calculated lap time to traverse the racetrack that is less than the first time period and the second time period.
Terminal
A terminal is disclosed. The terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an output unit for outputting a notification; a storage unit for storing a database; a control unit for controlling the outputting of the notification; and an artificial intelligence unit for acquiring information regarding a user's context, and outputting a notification when the user's context corresponds to information included in the database, wherein the database includes at least one of a user's personal database, a standard activity database, and an accident type database.
PROCESSING UNIT AND METHOD THEREIN FOR MANAGING ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN A VEHICLE
A method for managing energy consumption in a vehicle along a first route from a source location to a first target destination includes estimating an energy consumption, E.sub.PC, of the vehicle travelling from the source location to the first target destination along the first route. In case the amount of energy, E.sub.TOTAL, available in the vehicle is not on a level above E.sub.C that ensures arrival of the vehicle at the first target destination according to a first determined level of certainty, an estimated energy consumption, E.sub.AUX, of each auxiliary system on-board the vehicle for the first route, and an energy utilization information, EU.sub.INFO, indicating a priority level of each auxiliary system on-board the vehicle for the first route is obtained. An energy consumption adaption sequence of the auxiliary systems is determined for the first route based on the obtained E.sub.AUX and EU.sub.INFO of each auxiliary system such that E.sub.TOTAL is maintained on a level above E.sub.PC that ensures arrival of the vehicle at the first target destination according to a second determined level of certainty.
System and method for providing personalized driving or navigation assistance
This disclosure relates to method and system for providing personalized driving or navigation assistance. The method may include receiving sensory data with respect to a vehicle from a plurality of sensors and multi-channel input data with respect to one or more passengers inside the vehicle from a plurality of onboard monitoring devices, performing fusion of the sensory data and the multi-channel input data to generate multimodal fusion data, determining one or more contextual events based on the multi-modal fusion data using a machine learning model, wherein the machine learning model is trained using an incremental learning process and comprises a supervised machine learning model and an unsupervised machine learning model, analysing the one or more contextual events to generate a personalized driving recommendation, and providing the personalized driving recommendation to a driver passenger or a navigation device.
Hands-free augmented reality system for picking and/or sorting assets
A system is provided for hands-free handling of at least one asset by a user. The system includes a user device configured to be worn by a user and a control system remotely located relative to the user device and configured to exchange asset-related data with the user device, the asset-related data including at least one or more notifications related to the handling of the at least one asset by the user at the asset location. The user device contains a processor configured to determine location data associated with the at least one asset and including a location for the at least one asset, the determination being based, in part, upon the obtained asset identifier data; dynamically generate and display, at the user device, one or more navigational projections configured to guide the user to the asset location; and detect handling of the at least one asset by the user.
Navigation apparatus and method for providing individualization map service thereof
A navigation apparatus and a method for providing an individualization map service of the navigation apparatus are provided. The navigation apparatus includes a detector configured to sense a vehicle state and a travelling environment during travelling, and a processor configured to recognize a drive context based on the vehicle state and the travelling environment, and to make an individualization map to be serviced based on the recognized drive context.
Vehicle navigation device
The vehicle navigation device guides a user of a vehicle to a destination. The vehicle navigation device includes a car navigation system that acquires the destination, a head-up display that displays various information, and a body ECU that controls the information displayed on the head-up display based on the destination acquired by the car navigation system. The body ECU is configured to cause, on the assumption that the user alights from the vehicle at a current location, the head-up display to display post-alighting guidance information which is information for guiding the user to the destination regarding, for example, walking.
Method and apparatus to improve interaction models and user experience for autonomous driving in transition regions
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for improving user experiences for autonomous driving. In context of a method, the method determines one or more autonomous transition region parameters for a respective autonomous transition region along a route. The method also, based on the one or more autonomous transition region parameters, determines whether an action is to be performed by a vehicle in accordance with user preference data associated with a user. The method also causes the vehicle to perform the action in accordance with a determination that the action is to be performed by the vehicle.
Personalized notification system for mobility as a service
A personalized notification method for a mobility as a service (MaaS) vehicle includes receiving conditional personalized notification features from a passenger of the MaaS vehicle. The method also includes monitoring current driving environment of the MaaS vehicle to determine whether a condition of the conditional personalized notification features is satisfied. The method further includes notifying the passenger when the condition is satisfied via at least one localized output device in a compartment of the MaaS vehicle.
