Apparatus and Method for Providing Map Data and System Thereof
A system and a method are provided that are capable of providing map data for supporting a variety of user network environments and selecting data zones freely. A navigation terminal includes a reception unit adapted to receive a file in which map data of a specific zone is stored, from a map provision server; and an execution unit adapted to execute a navigation function on the specific zone using the file. The file is produced by an individual unit with respect to each of geographic areas divided by a mesh unit having a variable size. The size of the mesh unit is decided according to the amount of information included in the geographic area such that the file has an equalized size.
Techniques for collaborative map construction between an unmanned aerial vehicle and a ground vehicle
Techniques are disclosed for collaborative map construction using multiple vehicles. Such a system may include a ground vehicle including a first computing device and a first scanning sensor, and an aerial vehicle including a second computing device and a second scanning sensor. The ground vehicle can obtain a first real-time map based on first scanning data using the first scanning sensor, and transmit a first real-time map and position information to the aerial vehicle. The aerial vehicle can receive the first real-time map and the position information from the first computing device, obtain a second real-time map based on second scanning data collected using the second scanning sensor, and obtain a third real-time map based on the first real-time map and the second real-time map.
Partition satellite mission planning method for earliest completion of regional target coverage
The present invention discloses a partition satellite mission planning method for earliest completion of regional target coverage, which includes the following steps: 1. partitioning a to-be-observed rectangular region; 2. allocating observation resources to different regions and selecting certain coverage opportunities and coverage modes thereof to minimize completion time corresponding to a formed coverage solution. The present invention can obtain a satisfactory solution capable of finishing complete coverage of regional targets as early as possible with sufficient observation resources through suitable calculation resources and achieve balance between the consumption of calculation resources and optimality of solutions, so that satellite resources can be fully used to conduct the quick and effective coverage search for important regional targets in a real environment.
Systems and methods for generating a two-dimensional map
A system, computer-implemented method and non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions for generating a two-dimensional (2D) map of an area of interest are provided. The system comprises a processor and memory storing instructions which when executed by the processor configure the processor to perform the method. The method comprises determining a perimeter of an area of interest, obtaining nadir images of the area of interest, obtaining at least one oblique image of the area of interest from at least one corner of the perimeter, and processing the nadir and oblique images together to form the 2D map of the area of interest.
Systems and methods for aggregation and integration of distributed grid elements inputs for providing an interactive electric power grid geographic visualization
Systems and methods for aggregating and integrating distributed grid element inputs are disclosed. A data platform is provided for a distribution power grid. The data platform provides a crowd-sourced gaming system for identifying grid elements and determining dynamic electric power topology. The data platform also provides an interactive interface for displaying a view of a certain area with identified grid elements. The data platform communicatively connects to the identified grid elements, collects data from the identified grid elements, and manages the distribution power grid.
Lane network data generation apparatus and storage medium
An all-one-way network data for autonomous driving is generated according to traffic information of a road data included in a navigation map data. The lane network data for autonomous driving is generated based on the all-one-way network data according to information of a numerical number of lanes in the road data. A virtual lane boundary data is generated based on the all-one-way network data. A position of the lane network data and a position of the virtual lane boundary data are corrected according to a basic road map data and an aerial photograph data.
Geographic map updating methods and systems
Methods and systems for updating digital maps by refining map feature positions and improving map position accuracy are disclosed. Geographic map updating may include a base map element and an update element where the base map element may include a representation of the map area displaying features thereof and the update element may include a geographic feature identification element and one or more positioning elements. One embodiment includes identifying a point of interest's position data and updating the map data within a map region surrounding the point of interest.
Aerial vehicle map determination
A mapping system receives sensor data from an unmanned aerial vehicle. The mapping system further receives images from a camera of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The mapping system determines an altitude of the camera based on the sensor data. The mapping system calculates a footprint of the camera based on the altitude of the camera and a field of view of the camera. The mapping system constructs a localized map based on the images and the footprint of the camera.
CONSTRUCTION OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL ROAD NETWORK MAP
A method for constructing a three-dimensional road network map is disclosed. The method includes: extracting a two-dimensional road based on a satellite remote sensing image; skeletonizing the two-dimensional road to obtain a two-dimensional road network map; and determining a height of each point in the two-dimensional road network map based on an elevation of three-dimensional point cloud data, to obtain the three-dimensional road network map.
ROADMAP GENERATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING
A method of generating a roadway map includes receiving an image of a roadway. The method further includes identifying features in the roadway. The method further includes assigning a feature identification (FID) number to each of the identified features. The method further includes generating a score for each of the identified features based on a comparison between the identified features and a corresponding feature having a same FID number from a previously generated roadway map. The method further includes determining whether each of the identified features have changed based on whether the corresponding score exceeds a predetermined threshold. The method further includes updating the roadway map by changing identified features determined to have changed and maintaining identified features determined to have remain unchanged.
