According to the present disclosure, a map matching apparatus includes a map information acquisition unit configured to acquire map information expressed by a plurality of links, a movement information acquisition unit configured to acquire movement information of a moving body on a predetermined route, and a matching unit configured to specify a link string, which is a string of the links corresponding to the route, based on the map information and the movement information, in which the matching unit is configured to generate a physical network, which is a road network, based on the connection relationship and the map information, generate a hierarchical logical network in which the physical network is duplicated in a plurality of layers and configured in a hierarchical manner, and specify the link string indicating a minimized cost in the hierarchical logical network.

The disclosed technology can perform operations including receiving vehicle map service data from a plurality of service systems that include a plurality of client systems associated with a vehicle. The vehicle map service data can include information associated with a geographic area. A local map of the geographic area within a predetermined distance of the vehicle can be generated based on the vehicle map service data. Portions of the local map to which each client system is subscribed can be determined for each client system of the plurality of client systems. Additionally, the portions of the local map to which each client system is subscribed can be sent to a respective client system of the plurality of client systems.

The data platform communicatively connects to the identified grid elements, collects data from the identified grid elements, and manages the distribution power grid.

Map creation and localization for autonomous driving applications
An end-to-end system for data generation, map creation using the generated data, and localization to the created map is disclosed. Mapstreams—or streams of sensor data, perception outputs from deep neural networks (DNNs), and/or relative trajectory data—corresponding to any number of drives by any number of vehicles may be generated and uploaded to the cloud. The mapstreams may be used to generate map data—and ultimately a fused high definition (HD) map—that represents data generated over a plurality of drives. When localizing to the fused HD map, individual localization results may be generated based on comparisons of real-time data from a sensor modality to map data corresponding to the same sensor modality. This process may be repeated for any number of sensor modalities and the results may be fused together to determine a final fused localization result.

The filter determines that the version of first map data is compatible using one or more version rules stored in the filter. A method includes a computing system accessing a training sample that includes first sensor data obtained using a first sensor at a first geographic location, and first metadata comprising information relating to the first sensor. The system may train a machine-learning model by generating first map data by processing the training sample using the model and updating the model based on the generated first map data and target map data associated with the first geographic location. The system may then access second sensor data and second metadata, where the second sensor data is obtained using a second sensor. The system may generate second map data associated with a second geographic location by processing the second sensor data and the second metadata using the trained model. A high-definition map may be generated using the second map data.

The system has a processor operatively coupled to at least one storage unit and a communication component, the processor being configured for: receiving a service provider identifier from a computing device of at least one computing device; granting the computing device access to an annotation layer of an electronic map of at least one electronic map based on the service provider identifier; generating at least one annotation in response to receiving at least one selection of a service resource within a facility from the computing device; and storing the at least one annotation in the annotation layer.
