System of and method for mounting an environmental sensor to an elevated surface
Described, herein, relates to a system of and method for the safe and rapid mounting of an environmental sensor (e.g., a smoke detector) onto an elevated support surface (e.g., a wall, a post, or a ceiling). Accordingly, the installation harness may include a housing and a wall mount. During use, the wall mount may be configured to be affixed to the elevated support surface. Additionally, the housing may be configured to selectively couple to the wall mount through a connector extension, securing the housing to the wall mount. Subsequent to a user coupling the housing to the mount, the environmental sensor may be in electrical communication with a power source, via at least one male ring connector being electrically coupled to its respective at least one female ring connector.
CONTROL MODULE OF A VEHICLE
A control module of a vehicle includes a plurality of electromechanical functional elements arranged on a carrier plate and fixed in an interlocking and force-fitting manner to the carrier plate by clamping elements. The clamping elements are formed on a pressure plate that is secured to spacers of the carrier plate. To simplify production and fitting of the pressure plate provided with the clamping elements and to be able to use them with functional elements having different structural heights, the spacers have a slightly greater height than the structural height of the highest functional element. The pressure plate, for each of the functional elements, has at least one clamping element in the form of a clamping tab. The clamping tabs are each arranged at an opening in the pressure plate, which opening is partially closed by the clamping tabs, and are angled toward the carrier plate.
Support structure for meter stay
A support structure for a meter stay applied to a saddled vehicle including a top bridge coupling upper ends of a left-right pair of front forks; a handle clamp supporting a steering handle above the top bridge; and a meter stay supporting a meter device, in which a shaft member extends downwardly and is positioned on a lower surface of the handle clamp; an elastic member is disposed to abut a lower surface of the top bridge; the meter stay is placed to be in contact with a lower surface of the elastic member; and the shaft member passes through the top bridge, the elastic member, and the meter stay in this order, with a fixing member being coupled to a distal end of the shaft member.
INDUSTRIAL WIRELESS SENSOR SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention relate to an industrial wireless sensor system and aim to provide an industrial wireless sensor system in which three types of sensors (e.g., magnetic field detection sensor, limit sensor, proximity sensor), which are conventionally provided only as wired sensors, are replaced with wireless sensors. To that end, according to the present invention, there is disclosed an industrial wireless sensor system, comprising a sensor sensing an external physical state and outputting a sensing signal, a sensor controller converting the sensing signal from the sensor, converting the sensing signal into a digital signal, and outputting the digital signal, a wireless communication unit receiving the digital signal from the sensor controller, converting the digital signal into a wireless signal, and outputting the wireless signal to a factory controller, a power source supplying power to each of the sensor and the sensor controller, and a battery connected to the power source.
Vehicle body panels and systems having embedded sensor options
Vehicle body panels and systems are described. A vehicle body panel may include at least one layer of material defining the vehicle body panel and one or more than one electronic device, where a portion of each electronic device is embedded within one or more than one of the at least one layer of material. Each electronic device may communicate with a control system or a vehicle control unit of the vehicle to support an advanced-feature functionality of the vehicle. At least one electronic device may include a first portion embedded within the one or more than one of the at least one layer of material. The first portion may be couplable to a second portion, not embedded within the material, where the first portion upon being coupled to the second portion communicates with the control system or the vehicle control unit of the vehicle to support the advanced-feature functionality.
INSULATION PANEL AND SYSTEM
Insulation panel comprising: at least one sensor unit comprising at least one moisture senor configured to provide moisture data; at least one communication interface configured to establish a communication with a read-out device and to transmit the moisture data to the read-out device; at least one memory unit configured to store identification data of the insulation panel.
Double hook snap fit for electronic housing
A mountable circuit assembly is provided. The mountable circuit assembly may be a remote sensor assembly for mounting on body panel of a vehicle assembly. The assembly may include a sensor circuit, a housing and a mounting portion. The housing may include a cavity for receiving the sensor circuit. The housing may include first and second locking features. The first locking feature may be on an opposite side of a lock opening from the second locking feature. The mounting portion may be configured to lock into the body panel opening in the body panel. The mounting portion may have a post such that the first locking feature and the second locking feature engage the mounting portion inside the one or more post openings to fasten the housing to the mounting portion. The first and second locking features may be aligned to reduce deflection of the post during insertion.
Sensor installation structure
A sensor installation structure includes: an exterior panel provided at a side part of a vehicle; an installation surface arranged at a location recessed inward in the vehicle width direction from a general surface of the exterior panel; a connecting surface connecting between a peripheral edge of the installation surface and the general surface; and a surroundings information sensor that detects surroundings information of the vehicle and that is located inward in the vehicle width direction from the installation surface. The connecting surface, in elevating from the peripheral edge of the installation surface toward the general surface, slopes so as to extend outward in the surface direction when viewed from the installation surface.
A SENSOR SYSTEM FOR A BUILDING
A sensor system for a building, the sensor system comprising a plurality of sensor units and a processing unit wherein the sensor units each comprise a plurality of electronic components which are provided either directly or indirectly via a substrate, on a surface of an external component of the building, or embedded within an external component of the building; and wherein each sensor unit comprises a sensor operable to monitor a building parameter, and a communication module operable to output a signal comprising data indicative of the monitored building parameter to the processing unit.
