A transport-monitoring module for monitoring a transport of a transport unit of a passenger-transportation device is arranged on the transport unit. The transport-monitoring module has a sensor and localization devices. During the transport, through an interface unit, a connection with a data memory of the device is created. The interface unit is configured so that transport-monitoring data that are to be stored, which are based on sensor data of the sensor and localization data of the localization devices, are permanently stored in the data memory. In this way, the transport-monitoring module is simplified, so that it is no longer an item that is worth stealing. In addition, a reliable access to the stored transport-monitoring data after the end of the transport is secured.

TIC ENVIRONMENTAL EVENT SENSOR

The TIC environmental event sensor is a nickel-sized, ultra-thin circuit assembly, containing an extremely compact array of both environmental sensors and physical sensors, along with local and wireless access to all the sensor data, including BTLE & LoRa, as well as an electronic ink display for limited field access to sensor events in real time. The TIC is designed to capture changes in the sensor data in real time, and then log it for future examination. The most recent change will remain on the device’s display. The changes can then be transmitted to a smart phone or tablet via BTLE, networked as an asset via LoRa, or locally scrolled at the device. The TIC is Ideal for tracking any variations in the surrounding conditions of an asset’s travel, storage, or use.

Method and device for recording digital data representative of an operating variable of an observed system

The invention relates to a method and a device for recording digital data representative of an operating variable of an observed system, the digital data representative of said variable being obtained in the form of samples, the method comprising a data recording over time. The method receiving successive samples representative of said observed variable, and for a current sample, for at least two observation windows of different sizes, each observation window including a number, equal to the size of said window, of successive samples received before the moment in time corresponding to the current sample, calculating an average value per observation window, calculating a difference between the current sample and each of said average values, comparing each difference, in absolute value, to a predetermined threshold value associated with said observation window, and in case of excess, triggering a recording of the current sample in a non-volatile memory.

The present invention relates generally to a device which is directed toward a compact, portable, lightweight and modular device for the integrity testing of equipment to determine fluid pressure, temperature and flow rates at specific locations throughout a system. The present invention provides the ability and capability to acquire data via immediate, intermediate or distanced pressure and temperature monitoring, observation and collection. Said results may be directly monitored, at an immediate, intermediate or distanced proximity, and thereby collected and digitally stored and/or transmitted, via real-time data collection and transmission, to an on-site or off-site operator or manager for remote active or passive data collection, data monitoring, data analysis and data management.

Performance Management System and Method

Systems and methods identify and trigger actions to improve performance in a role in an organization. A server computer receives input data associated with a performance of a target entity in a role in an organization from a remote device. The server computer also receives, via input to a Graphical User Interface (GUI), a set of weights for a respective set of skills for the role. The server computer computes a metric based on the input data and the weights, the metric representing the performance in the role for the target entity. The server computer identifies an action likely to improve the metric and triggers the action.
