Filling device and filling system for volumetric metering of powder
The disclosure relates to a filling device and to a filling system for volumetric metering of powder in a metering container. The filling device includes a retaining device permeable to air but impermeable to the powder. The retaining device in the course of the metering process covers a filling aperture of the metering container and a rim of the metering container encircling the filling aperture, a filling pipe which has been passed through the retaining device into the metering container, and first reduced-pressure means for generating a reduced pressure on the retaining device on the side thereof facing away from the metering container. The filling pipe exhibits a blocking portion, the blocking portion being at least partially permeable to air but impermeable to the powder. The filling device includes second reduced-pressure generator for generating a reduced pressure on the blocking portion on the outside thereof.
SYSTEM FOR DEPOSITING FOODSTUFF MATERIAL IN THE FLUID STATE ON A FOODSTUFF PRODUCT
A system for depositing foodstuff material in the fluid state on a foodstuff product, the system including: a product conveying line; at least one foodstuff material dispensing unit including includes a plurality of rows of nozzles; and a dispensing control unit, in which the dispensing unit includes a valve device associated to each individual nozzle to control foodstuff material flow through the nozzle, the valve device including: an open/close member, a solenoid; and a magnetic element operatively connected to the open/close member and mobile between a first position in which it closes the respective nozzle, preventing dispensing of the foodstuff material therethrough, and a second position in which a passage is opened through the nozzle for dispensing the foodstuff material.
Dispensing device
The invention relates to a dispensing device for metering and dispensing a predetermined number of multiparticulates from a container. The dispensing device comprises a chamber which includes an inlet through which multiparticulates can enter the chamber and an overflow through which multiparticulates can leave the chamber. There is also an outlet through which multiparticulates can be dispensed from the chamber. The chamber comprises a metering surface which includes at least one retaining portion. The, or each, of the retaining portions is configured to be able to releasably retain a single multiparticulate.
Powder dispensing fixture
A fixture for dispensing a powder is disclosed. The fixture has a base and a beam with a first end, a second end, and a fulcrum disposed between the first and second ends and coupled to the base. The fixture also has a load transfer beam having a first end and a second end that is fixedly coupled to the base. A force sensor is coupled to the load transfer beam. The beam can rotate about the fulcrum with respect to the base and the second end of the beam makes a point contact with the first end of the load transfer beam.
Metering Device for Bulk Material
A metering device for bulk material has a metering container with an outlet opening provided with a rim. A slide is connected to a slide drive and closes the outlet opening. The slide is provided with a slide rim. The rim of the outlet opening and the slide rim, as a function of a displacement travel of the slide in a displacement direction, determine a travel-dependent outlet cross section of the outlet opening. The rim of the outlet opening; or the slide rim; or the rim of the outlet opening and the slide rim extend at a slant to the displacement direction of the slide.
Addition system
An addition system for introducing particulate material into an industrial process is disclosed. The addition system comprises a vessel for holding the particulate material, a weighing device, piping, a controller, and a frame to support the piping. The piping comprises a first valve for transferring the particulate material to the industrial process, and a second valve for transferring a first stream of pressurized gas from a source of pressurized gas to the vessel. The vessel comprises a filling nozzle located on the top of the vessel.
DRY PRODUCT DISPENSER WITH INTERNAL AGITATOR
A dispenser includes a main body having a discharge opening, an open interior configured to receive a supply of granulated product and a discharge spout for dispensing the granulated product therefrom. A loading and dispensing member is constructed with a plurality of spaced apart receiving cavities formed therein, and is movably mounted within the main body. A portion control container receiving the granulated product and defining a first portion control volume is received and removably retained in each of the plurality of retaining cavities. Each entire portion control container is removable from one of the receiving cavities and is replaceable with a different portion control container defining a second portion volume which is different that the first portion volume. An agitator is positioned within the main body, and is configured for separate engagement with each of the portion control containers to agitate the granulated product received in each of the portion control containers during movement of the loading and dispensing member.
Container and overcap with hinged spout for metered dispensing
A container and overcap assembly includes an open mouth container and an overcap with a built-in spout that is hinged to the overcap. The spout snaps shut inside the overcap when in a fully closed position and snaps into a fully open position as well. The spout accommodates a metered dose of product. In the fully open position, the spout seals the opening in the overcap to prevent product from exiting the container while a metered dose is dispensed from the open spout. The container assembly is particularly useful for containing and providing metered dispenses of dry products such as powders and granulated materials.
POWDER DISPENSING FIXTURE
A module for dispensing a powder is disclosed. The module has a channel having an entry port, a hopper coupled to the entry port and configured to receive the powder, and a piston partially disposed within the channel and configured to reciprocate within the channel. The piston has a retracted position configured to allow the powder to move from the hopper through the entry port into the channel.
