Portable Fuel Metering System

A portable fuel metering system (PMU) is described. The PMU has one or more flow meters capable of metering the flow of fluids, such as fuel, as the fluid is transferred from a source to a receiver. The PMU may include a telemetry unit configured to transmit parameters related to the fuel transfer to remote location. The PMU may be configured in a light, portable package that may be carried by one or two people. The PMU may include a power generator that is configured to use the flow of fluid to the PMU to generate power for the PMU's operation.

An embodiment provides a device for measuring a fluid parameter of fluid flow in a channel, including: a transmitter; at least one receiver; a processor operatively coupled to the at least one transmitter and the at least one receiver; a memory device that stores instructions executable by the processor to: transmit, using the transmitter, directed energy carrying a signal toward a surface of a fluid in a fluid channel, so as to produce one or more reflections from the fluid surface; detect, by the at least one receiver, one or more received signals associated with the one or more reflections so produced; determine, based upon a measurement beam comprising characteristics of the transmitted and received signals, one or more fluid parameters to be measured using a processor of the device; and associate, using a processor of the device, the one or more fluid parameters with a channel segment. The control device can assume a read mode in which data at the first data interface can be transmitted by the control device to the second data interface upon receiving a clock and voltage supply signal having a read signal variation. The control device can additionally assume a write mode in which data at the second data interface can be transmitted to the first data interface upon receiving a clock and voltage supply signal with a write signal variation different from the read signal variation.

A first vane set extends outwardly from the hub to the first cylindrical rim, wherein a root of each vane of the first vane set is attached to the hub and a tip of each vane of the first vane set is attached to the first cylindrical rim. The first vane set may consist of one or two individual vanes. An external vane set may extend outwardly from the first cylindrical rim, wherein a root of each vane is attached to the first cylindrical rim and a tip of each vane is not attached to any cylindrical rim.

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and systems for natural gas data computation outside a gas IoT based on energy measuring, including establishing the gas IoT. The object platform obtains consumed gas volume data and location data of the smart gas meter as first data and second data, and sending them to the management platform through the sensor network platform. The management platform generates consumed gas preprocessing data based on the first data and the second data, and generates energy measurement data after performing the computation outside the gas IoT on the consumed gas preprocessing data by the cloud platform outside the gas IoT. The management platform sends the energy measurement data to the user platform configured in a regional pipeline network center through the service platform. The user platform performs gas energy measurement of the smart gas meter based on the energy measurement data.
