WATER GAUGE FOR ON-SITE MONITORING AND EARLY WARNING
20230003568 · 2023-01-05 · ·

A water gauge for on-site monitoring and early warning includes an alarm part, a control part and a retractable part. The retractable part is fixedly connected with the alarm part at the top, and the control part at the bottom; the alarm part is electrically connected with the control part through a wire; the control part compares the water level measured by the retractable part with a preset threshold, to determine whether the alarm part needs to give an alarm. When the water on the road rises to the warning line of 30 cm set on the water gauge during a rainstorm, the warning light on the top of the water gauge will start to flash, and the water gauge will give an alarm through the speaker, reminding the pedestrians and vehicles not to pass the section for the time being.

Oil measurement apparatus

An oil measurement apparatus for an oil-lubricated internal combustion engine has an oil dipstick and a guide for guiding the oil dipstick in an oil pan of the internal combustion engine. A fill level of motor oil in the oil pan can be recorded by the oil measurement apparatus. The oil dipstick has an operating element in a first end region for inserting and removing the oil dipstick in the guide and, in a second end region, has a measurement region for recording the fill level. The fill level can be recorded by the oil dipstick in a first state of the oil measurement apparatus and, in a second state of the oil measurement apparatus, the measurement region is completely drawn into the guide. The oil dipstick has a dipstick stop element between the operating element and the measurement region, and has a dipstick cover, which is movable between the measurement region and the dipstick stop element and is designed to at least temporarily cover the measurement region. In the second state of the oil measurement apparatus, the measurement region is covered by the dipstick cover at least in sections.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING SLUDGE LEVELS IN WASTEWATER RESERVOIRS
20220364899 · 2022-11-17 · ·

An aerially controlled sludge level detection system is for determining a sludge level in a wastewater reservoir. The system may have a drone and a sludge level detection tool suspended from the drone. The drone may be operable to lower the sludge level detection tool into the wastewater reservoir and raise the sludge level detection tool out of the wastewater reservoir. The sludge level detection tool may have a longitudinally extending gauge. At least a portion of the gauge at a distal end may be hollow to allow a volume of a fluid and a volume of the sludge from within the wastewater reservoir to enter the gauge when lowered into the wastewater reservoir. The sludge level detection tool may also have an analyzer connected to the gauge for analyzing the volume of the fluid and the volume of the sludge within the gauge.

OIL LEVEL MEASURING DEVICE

An oil level measuring device has a distal end and a proximal end. The oil level measuring device includes an arm comprising a first channel and a second channel, an electronic oil level sensor comprising a measuring mean configured to measure the level of the oil in an oil pan and a connecting port, the measuring mean being hosted into the first channel of the arm, a dipstick hosted into the second channel of the arm and configured to dip into the oil in the oil pan.

Dipstick and electronic fluid level sensor

A system, as an engine with a crankcase containing oil or a fluid mixed with oil, has a reservoir containing liquid that extends up to a level of the fluid. A dipstick support structure supports a dipstick on it so that the dipstick extends into the fluid past the level of the fluid, and so that the dipstick is manually removable from the dipstick support structure by a user. An electrical system is connected with the dipstick, and the electrical system electrically senses the level of the fluid based on an electrical characteristic of the dipstick that varies with the varying level of the fluid when the dipstick extends into it. The electrical characteristic may be capacitance of the dipstick detected by sequential charging and discharging of the dipstick to produce a square wave electrical signal the frequency of which corresponds to the level of fluid.
