Systems and methods for storing fluid and sensing volume are described. In some embodiments, a system may include a container having an internal volume that is configured to change as fluid enters or exits the container, a first loop disposed on a first side of the container, and a second loop disposed on a second side of the container. A first current traveling through one of the first loop and the second loop may induce a second current in the other of the first loop and the second loop, and a magnitude of the second current may vary based on changes in the internal volume of the container.

There is disclosed a sensor system for determining a fluid level comprising a first sensor comprising a contact sensor a second sensor comprising a conductive sensor and a transducer configured to determine a water level based upon pressure placed on the transducer. There is also a microprocessor in communication with the first sensor, the second sensor and the transducer, the microprocessor configured to determine from at least one of the first sensor, the second sensor and the transducer, a fluid level in a container. In one embodiment the system further comprises a memory configured to feed values to the microprocessor, wherein the values comprise at least one of a high level fluid value and a low level fluid value. In one embodiment the microprocessor is configured to read pressure levels from the transducer wherein the pressure level of the transducer is configured to estimate a fluid level in a container.

Disclosed in various embodiments are an electronic device, the electronic device comprising: a power control circuit for controlling power supplied to at least one component of the electronic device; at least one submergence recognition circuit including a first pole connected to at least one port of the power control circuit, and a second pole connected to a ground; a processor electrically connected to the power control circuit; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory can be configured, during execution thereof, to store instructions for allowing the processor to: control the power control circuit such that power is supplied to the submergence recognition circuit; sense a current flowing from the submergence recognition circuit to the power control circuit; and determine, on the basis of the sensing result of the current, whether an area in which the submergence recognition circuit is arranged has been submerged.

A method for mitigating water invasion to a submersible motor includes: forming an accumulation zone within an inner space of the submersible motor, wherein the accumulation zone is disposed at a bottom of the inner space below a motor shaft; measuring a conductivity of a fluid inside the accumulation zone using a sensor, wherein the fluid comprises water and dielectric oil; comparing the conductivity of the fluid with a threshold value; upon detecting that the conductivity of the fluid is greater than the threshold value, activating a solenoid pump to discharge the fluid from the accumulation zone to an outside of the submersible motor.
