Flow measuring device for lubrication systems

A flow measuring device for measuring flow of a fluid. A housing has a passage which extends between an inlet and an outlet. A shaft is disposed within the housing and is rotatable about a central axis. A flow detector is mounted on the shaft and disposed at least partially within the passage. The flow detector includes a rotatable, generally cylindrical body that rotates about a central axis as the fluid flows. A magnet is disposed within the housing such that the central axis extends through it, and is configured to rotate simultaneously with the body about the central axis. A magnetic encoder is disposed within the housing and configured to sense rotation of the magnet as the flow detector angularly displaces about the central axis so as to detect angular displacement of the flow detector.

Perpetual meter with noise damping

Disclosed are utilitarian and ornamental features of fluid flow meter housing technologies. Such housing technologies comprises removable covers where such covers are associated with the meter housings without using bolts to better distribute pressure across the surfaces of the flow measurement components inside the meter. Such configuration reduces measurement component deformation over time. Further disclosed are damping elements configured to reduce noise from the measurement elements disposed inside a fluid flow meter.

A vane powered rotor system or a vane powered rotor may utilize a servomotor and may gently extract, meter, and extrude a product under low pressure. The system or rotor may maintain original product properties of the product during portioning or separation of the product. The system or rotor may include a first group of cavities that may become filled with the product, as the vane powered rotor continuously rotates. The product may be discharged through a second group of cavities opposite the first group of cavities. The first and second group of cavities may be arranged laterally about opposing sides of the vane powered rotor.

An apparatus includes a body having a central axis, a fluid inlet coupled to the body, the fluid inlet being adapted to receive a flow of a fluid, and a fluid outlet coupled to the body. The fluid inlet and the fluid outlet are substantially coaxially aligned so as to define a flow axis through the apparatus, and the flow axis is laterally offset from and perpendicular to the central axis of the body. A rotating blade assembly is disposed within said body and includes a plurality of blades, wherein the rotating blade assembly is adapted to be controllably rotated about the central axis so as to control a fluid level of the flow of fluid entering the fluid inlet.
