A method for processing pharmaceutical powders, which comprises providing a feeder module including a plurality of feeder units each with a storage hopper, a weighing cell, a conveyer, and a discharge end, connecting the storage hopper to a refilling system with a refilling valve, connecting the refilling valve to a level or weight indicator disposed above the refilling valve, connecting the discharge end to a common receiving container, refilling the storage hopper with a powder intermittently 40 to 80 times per hour, storing data during refilling, transporting powder from the storage hopper with the respective conveyer, and discharging powder from each feeder unit into the common receiving container. During each refilling of the storage hopper, the refilling valve dispenses powder into the storage hopper and, during the step of transporting the powder from the storage hopper, the conveyer is operated according to the data collected during previous refills.

CALIBRATION DEVICE FOR VOLUMETRIC METERS
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for calibrating a first meter of an air cart include determining a calibration factor using a second meter. The second meter may be located with the air cart or remotely from the air cart. An amount of material dispensed from the second meter is used to determine the calibration factor. A number of cycles of operation of the second meter may also be used to determine the calibration factor. The calibration factor may be provided via a wired or wireless connection to a controller operable to control operation of the first meter.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for calibrating a first meter of an air cart include determining a calibration factor using a second meter. A discharge flow rate of a loss-in-weight scale is controlled by continuously changing control outputs to save the time necessary for data stabilization. A curve relating the discharge flow rate and the control output is obtained by using the functional relationship between the control output and time and the functional relationship between the material weight and time. The discharge flow rate can be precisely controlled by directly selecting or inputting a value of the control output, to achieve the objectives of direct controlling and of avoiding the time for data stabilization.

System and method for calibrating an agricultural product metering system
A system for calibrating an agricultural product metering system is provided including a calibration unit configured to be mounted to the agricultural product metering system. The calibration unit includes a load cell configured to measure a calibration weight of product exiting the agricultural product metering system, and the calibration unit is configured to output signals indicative of the calibration weight of the product. The calibration system also includes a controller configured to receive the signals and to calculate a product flow rate based on the calibration weight.
