Flexure Hinge
A flexure hinge with two material segments connected to each other via a material tapering to a thin spot which defines a pivot axis between the two material segments. The material segments are provided with recesses such that the strength existing in the thin spot with respect to normal stresses or bending stresses is kept largely constant within a distance from the thin spot.

Covering hood for a plurality of load cell housings
A covering hood for jointly covering a plurality of a load cell housings in which a load introduction pin protrudes from each load cell housing through a housing opening. The covering hood including a separate passage opening in an upper part of the covering hood for each load introduction pin. The covering hood can be connected to the individual load cell housings at each separate passage opening.
REDEMPTIVE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST DEMONSTRATED ON BALANCE SCALE
This invention involves a balance scale with a base, a balance arm support, a balance arm, a pointer with a counter-balance, and a movable label plate containing descriptions. The balance arm has a tray on each end, where one tray holds an article representing mankind with sin, and the other tray holds an article representing the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. The articles on each tray are of equal or approximately equal weight. The scale rotates when the weight of the articles are added to or removed from the trays, and the scale rotation will determine which description the pointer will point to. This invention can be used as a Christian teaching aid showing the benefit of choosing to accept the death of Christ as payment in full for our sins, along with showing the consequence of our refusal to accept the death of Christ as payment for our sins.

Inference and interpolation of continuous 4D trajectories
The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods for determining a four-dimensional (4D) trajectory of an aircraft without requiring aircraft performance data or meteorological data. The techniques can include: detecting a plurality of 4D aircraft states of the aircraft, determining, for each of a plurality of pairs of adjacent aircraft states, a respective aircraft transition, detecting a plurality of pairs of repeat adjacent aircraft transition, discarding, for each pair of repeat adjacent aircraft transitions, a respective aircraft state from the plurality of aircraft states, and electronically transmitting the plurality of aircraft states after the discarding.

Balance with free-floating weighing pan
A balance (1) has a weighing pan (3) that is held in a predetermined free-floating and constant position relative to translatory and rotary displacements in the six degrees of freedom during use. At least six position sensors are used to measure the position of the weighing pan in all three dimensions. A weighing mechanism having at least six electromagnetic mechanisms (5) generate compensation forces (F.sub.c1-F.sub.c6) that act on the weighing pan by sending currents through a force coil (7) associated with an associated permanent magnet. The weight of an object on the weighing pan is determined from the amounts of current flowing in the respective force coils to maintain the weighing pan in position.
