Luggage Scale Device
The present invention relates to a luggage scale device. A housing of the device can be attached to a wall via a fastener, wherein a weighing member can then be extended perpendicular to the housing. The strain gauge load cell is positioned on the member and allows luggage to be weighed via placing a strap of the luggage on the member such that the device suspends the luggage above the ground. The weight of the luggage is then displayed via a display on the housing.
GRAVIMETRIC MEASURING DEVICE
A gravimetric measuring device (10, 10′, 10″, 10′″) includes a balance base body (12) and a top unit (14, 14′, 14″, 14′″), wherein the balance base body (12) has a balance base body wall (20), to which the top unit (14, 14′, 14″, 14′″) can be reversibly fixed, and a weighing system with a load receptor (22) passing through the balance base body wall (20) and the top unit (14, 14′, 14″, 14′″). A plurality of optical, magnetic, tactile, radio, thermal, electrical and/or electronic interfaces (201) coupled to a balance electronics are arranged on the balance base body wall (20), at least one of which interfaces is connected to a corresponding interface of the top unit (14, 14′, 14″, 14′″) to form an optical, magnetic, tactile, radio, thermal, electrical or electronic connection between the top unit (14, 14′, 14″, 14′″) and the balance electronics.
Folding portable luggage scale
Described is a folding portable luggage scale. The folding portable luggage scale includes multiple folding arms connected via hinges, multiple load sensors, and an electronics housing including electronic components and a digital display. Electrical wires connect each load sensor with the electronics housing. The folding portable luggage scale is compact and lightweight for storage in luggage during travel.
ELECTRONIC BALANCE
An electronic balance includes a balance unit having a measuring pan surrounded by a space enclosed within a windshield having a door, and a rear-section casing formed by plates and containing a motor unit which includes a motor and a driving element connected with the rotation shaft of the motor. When the motor unit is fixed within the rear-section casing, the driving element protrudes through a driving-element hole in one of the plates to the outside of the rear-section casing and engages with a driven element fixed to the door so that the door can be opened and closed by the motor. When the motor must be replaced, the motor unit including the motor and the driving element in an integrated form can be entirely and easily replaced with a new motor unit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AT-HOME MONITORING OF AN INDIVIDUAL
In one embodiment, a sensor unit includes an outer housing including a top plate and a base member that together define an interior space, the top plate being configured to directly receive and support the leg of the piece of furniture, a load cell provided within the interior space configured to measure forces imposed by the leg on the top plate, the load cell including a planar metal plate having a deformable element to which the top plate is mounted and a sensor element mounted to the planar metal plate at a location at which the deformable element extends from the remainder of the planar metal plate, and an internal platform provided within the interior space and associated with the base member that supports the planar metal plate of the load cell in a manner in which the deformable element of the planar metal plate is free to deform when a force is imposed by the leg on the top plate.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AT-HOME MONITORING OF AN INDIVIDUAL
In one embodiment, a sensor unit includes an outer housing including a top plate and a base member that together define an interior space, the top plate being configured to directly receive and support the leg of the piece of furniture, a load cell provided within the interior space configured to measure forces imposed by the leg on the top plate, the load cell including a planar metal plate having a deformable element to which the top plate is mounted and a sensor element mounted to the planar metal plate at a location at which the deformable element extends from the remainder of the planar metal plate, and an internal platform provided within the interior space and associated with the base member that supports the planar metal plate of the load cell in a manner in which the deformable element of the planar metal plate is free to deform when a force is imposed by the leg on the top plate.
RETAIL WEIGHING SCALE
A weighing scale has a housing accommodating a load cell, having fixed, deformation, movable portions. The fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion bears a spider having a platter. The deformation portion has a strain gauge measuring a weight acting on the platter. A strip light is attached to an external wall of the housing. A state machine of a controller depicts states of the weighing scale. The controller either: applies a voltage to the strip light in a pulsed manner when the state machine is in a first state, and applies a voltage to the strip light constantly in a second state; or applies a voltage to a third group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the first state, and applies a voltage to a second group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the second state.

The fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion bears a spider having a platter. The deformation portion has a strain gauge measuring a weight acting on the platter. A strip light is attached to an external wall of the housing. A state machine of a controller depicts states of the weighing scale. The controller either: applies a voltage to the strip light in a pulsed manner when the state machine is in a first state, and applies a voltage to the strip light constantly in a second state; or applies a voltage to a third group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the first state, and applies a voltage to a second group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the second state.

The fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion bears a spider having a platter. A strip light is attached to an external wall of the housing and is attached substantially all around the housing. The weighing scale further has a controller with a state machine which is configured to depict at least one technical state of the weighing scale, the control unit being configured to actuate the strip light on the basis of the state of the state machine.

The weighing scale further has a controller with a state machine which is configured to depict at least one technical state of the weighing scale, the control unit being configured to actuate the strip light on the basis of the state of the state machine.
