OVERLOAD PREVENTION MECHANISM
20180003548 · 2018-01-04 ·

Provided is an overload prevention mechanism including a load receiving part provided with a flange having at least three ribs on the upper surface of the flange; a pedestal located below the load receiving part; an elastic body which has one end in contact with the load receiving part and the other end in contact with the pedestal, and which biases the load receiving part and the pedestal in such a direction that the load receiving part and the pedestal are separated from each other; and a connection member having on the lower surface thereof recessed grooves which engage with the ribs. The three or more ribs are disposed so as to restrict inclination and rattling of the load receiving part due to a load applied to the load receiving part.

LOAD CELL

The invention relates to a load cell symmetrical about a central vertical axis and comprising first and second mounting surfaces, each on the same horizontal plane and configured for attachment to a support structure and to a loading fixture respectively.

Scale lock

A lock assembly includes at least a lock component, a lock member, and a bracket. The lock component is securable to a load cell. The lock member is configured to move into a first position to provide an unlocked state in which the lock member is disengaged from the lock component. In the unlocked state, the load cell is physically unsecured from the lock member and enabled to operate. The lock member is configured to move into a second position to provide a locked state in which the lock member is engaged with the lock component. In the locked state, the load cell is physically secured to the lock member via the lock component. The bracket is configured to support the lock member in relation to the lock component.

RETAIL WEIGHING SCALE

A weighing scale has a housing accommodating a load cell, having fixed, deformation, movable portions. The fixed portion is connected to the housing, and the movable portion bears a spider having a platter. The deformation portion has a strain gauge measuring a weight acting on the platter. A strip light is attached to an external wall of the housing. A state machine of a controller depicts states of the weighing scale. The controller either: applies a voltage to the strip light in a pulsed manner when the state machine is in a first state, and applies a voltage to the strip light constantly in a second state; or applies a voltage to a third group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the first state, and applies a voltage to a second group of LED lamps of the strip light constantly in the second state.

Step apparatus for vehicle and vehicle

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a step apparatus for a vehicle and a vehicle. In some embodiments, the step apparatus for the vehicle includes: a foot step; a load detection device coupled to the foot step for detecting a load applied to the foot step; a controller in communication with the load detection device and configured to receive and process a load signal detected by the load detection device and to determine whether the foot step is overloaded; and an alarm in communication with the controller. In some embodiments, the controller is further configured to generate an alerting signal to control the alarm to send out an alert when the foot step is overloaded.

A load cell includes a flexure element having a Roberval mechanism in which the respective ends of a pair of top and bottom parallel beams including a thin section are integrated in a fixed portion and in a movable portion, and a stopper for preventing an overload disposed between the pair of the top and bottom parallel beams by being fixed to the fixed portion. The front portion of the stopper is disposed in a concave portion for engaging the stopper formed on the inner side surface of the movable portion and extending in the width direction, and the front portion of the stopper of which a width is larger than the movable portion projects outwardly in the width direction of the movable portion.

Load cell for weight measurement

The invention relates to a load cell for weight measurement with a load beam which has an overload protection. In order to achieve a cost-effective manufacture, it is provided that the overload protection has a bar, running parallel to the center plane of the load beam, which freely engages in a recess on the movable force application side of the load beam, with the result that there is an upper and a lower air gap between the bar and the force application side. In the case of an overload, the upper or the lower air gap is bridged and the force application side comes to rest against the bar, with the result that no further movement of the force application side relative to the stationary side of the load cell is possible.

Load cell overload protection by a relieving mechanism for fluid dispensing systems

A method for locking out load cells includes dispensing a fluid into a collapsible bag that is supported within a support housing, the support housing resting on a plurality of load cells that sense the weight of the fluid; manipulating a plurality of lockouts located adjacent to corresponding load cells from a first position to a second position so that the lockouts remove at least a portion of the weight of the fluid from the plurality of load cells; moving the support housing containing the collapsible bag with the fluid therein to a new location; and further manipulating the plurality of lockouts from the second position back to the first position so that the plurality of load cells again sense the full weight of the fluid within the collapsible bag.

A lockout assembly for selectively limiting the force applied to a weigh module, with a load cell, that senses force applied to a top plate from an equipment flange. A cowling with a flange spacer, is placed between the top plate and the equipment flange. The cowling has a jack arm that extends laterally and downwardly therefrom, and a jack screw extending downwardly, adjacent a support structure. A jack nut is threaded onto the jack screw, and is adjustable between a lockout position wherein the jack nut engages the support structure, and a weighing position wherein the jack nut does not engage the support structure.
