MULTISPECTRAL ACTIVE REMOTE SENSOR
Disclosed is a radiation arrangement for a multispectral active remote sensing device. The arrangement includes a transceiver, a detector, and a wavelength-adjustable narrow band stopper.
Camera Module, Imaging Method, and Imaging Apparatus
This application provides a camera module, an imaging method, and an imaging apparatus. The camera module 111 this application includes a filter module and a sensor module. The filter module is configured to output target optical signals of different bands in optical signals incident on the filter module to a same pixel on the sensor module at different times. The sensor module is configured to: convert the target optical signals incident on the sensor module into electrical signals, and output the electrical signals.
ACCESSORIES FOR HANDHELD SPECTROMETER
A protective sheath having a closed end and an open end is sized to receive a hand held spectrometer. The spectrometer can be placed in the sheath to calibrate the spectrometer and to measure samples. In a calibration orientation, an optical head of the spectrometer can be oriented toward the closed end of the sheath where a calibration material is located. In a measurement orientation, the optical head of the spectrometer can be oriented toward the open end of the sheath in order to measure a sample. To change the orientation, the spectrometer can be removed from the sheath container and placed in the sheath container with the calibration orientation or the measurement orientation. Accessory container covers can be provided and placed on the open end of the sheath with samples placed therein in order to provide improved measurements.
COLOR MEASUREMENT
A method of measuring the color of a surface may include a device positioned above the surface. The device may include an optical sensor and a display screen. The optical sensor measures visible light level reflected from the surface in a plurality of spectral channels. A plurality of patterns are sequentially displayed on the display screen. The optical sensor is used to measure light reflected by the surface during display of each pattern. A value is determined for the distance from the optical sensor to the illuminated region for a first local maximum of intensity of the measured light reflected by the surface. A location in a color space corresponding to a color of the surface or a reflectance spectrum of the surface is determined based on the visible light level in each spectral channel for the value of the distance corresponding to the first local maximum.
Optical spectrometer modules, systems and methods for optical analysis with multiple light beams
A method of optical analysis comprises receiving light at an optical spectrometer module from a light source, distributing the received light into two or more light beams with a light distribution component of the optical spectrometer module, concurrently exposing each of a reference and one or more test samples to one of the two or more light beams, and concurrently measuring a property of the light associated with each of the reference sample and one or more test samples with a corresponding detector.
Light Source Modules for Noise Mitigation
Configurations for light source modules and methods for mitigating coherent noise are disclosed. The light source modules may include multiple light source sets, each of which may include multiple light sources. The light emitted by the light sources may be different wavelengths or the same wavelength depending on whether the light source module is providing redundancy of light sources, increased power, coherent noise mitigation, and/or detector mitigation. In some examples, the light source may emit light to a coupler or a multiplexer, which may then be transmitted to one or more multiplexers. In some examples, the light source modules provide one light output and in other examples, the light source modules provide two light outputs. The light source modules may provide light with approximately zero loss and the wavelengths of light may be close enough to spectroscopically equivalent respect to a sample and far enough apart to provide coherent noise mitigation.

TRACE MICROANALYSIS MICROSCOPE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The invention discloses a Trace Microanalysis Microscope System for high throughput screening. A multimodal imaging sensor arrangement acquires color, multispectral, hyperspectral and multi-directional polarized imaging, independently and in combinations thereof. In one aspect of this disclosure, the multimodal acquisition is combined with a plurality of sample illumination modes, further expanding the dimensionality of the generated data. In another aspect of this invention, machine learning-based methods combining and comparing a- priori data with the acquired multimodal data space, provide unique identifiers for the composition of the analyzed target objects. In yet another aspect of this invention, projection mapping of the identified compositional features navigates secondary sampling for subsequent analyses.
