The first tab surface includes a first locking portion and the second tab surface includes a second locking portion. A light-emitting diode (LED) array is slidably disposed on the pair of supports and a divider tab snaps into engagement with the tab channel. The divider tab is configured to illuminate in response to receiving light from the LED array.

System and Method of Matching a Paint Color to an Automotive Surface
20210094068 · 2021-04-01 ·

A system and method of matching a paint color to an automotive surface generates a final color composition that accurately matches a current color for a repaintable surface of an automobile. The system for the present invention includes a primary transparent card and a plurality of spray paints, wherein each spray paint is associated to a paint color. The paint color of each spray paint is compared to the current color and applied as a plurality of primary shades onto the primary transparent card. The repaintable surface is overlaid with the primary transparent card, and a matching primary shade is identified. The matching primary shade is appended into the final color composition. The repaintable surface is repainted with the final color composition. The system further includes at least one secondary transparent card that allows for the identification of at least one color-modifying spray paint from the plurality of spray paints.

A method and device for determining the color homogeneity of hair is provided. In accordance with various exemplary embodiments, a method comprises providing a digital image in which hair is depicted and which is parameterized in a color space which is defined by employing a parameter set in which one of the parameters is a hue, defining at least one hair analysis region in the digital image, determining a hue distribution in at least one hair analysis region, and determining at least one color homogeneity value on the basis of the determined hue distribution.

Systems and methods for illuminating paint color chip locations within a display assembly

Systems and methods are disclosed and include at least one light-emitting diode (LED) array, and each LED of the at least one LED array is associated with a respective paint color chip location of a display assembly. The system also includes an LED control circuit in communication with each LED and a processor configured to execute instructions stored in a nontransitory memory. The instructions include, in response to receiving an input corresponding to a selection of a first paint color chip: determining a first paint color chip location within the display assembly based on the first paint color chip; identifying an LED of the at least one LED array, wherein the LED is associated with the first paint color chip location; and transmitting an activation signal to the LED control circuit to activate the LED and illuminate the first paint color chip location.

Method for selecting an elastic venous restraint orthosis intended to be slipped onto a lower limb of a patient. Acquisition of a photograph representing the skin of the limb and a calibration map including one or more calibration zones. The calibration map is placed on the limb in a position termed the acquisition position. Calibration of the photograph by the calibration zone or zones, in such a way that the representation of the skin on the photograph exhibits a calibrated colour. Selection, as a function of the calibrated colour, by computer and from a set of colours of a tone chart, of a tone chart colour, preferably of the tone chart colour closest to the calibrated colour, termed the optimal colour, and then determination, by computer, of an orthosis colour as a function of the tone chart colour selected. Selection of an orthosis exhibiting the orthosis colour.

Automatic Tag Identification For Color Themes
20200160167 · 2020-05-21 · ·

An automatic tag identification system identifies tags for color themes, a color theme referring to a set of multiple colors that work well together to create (e.g., are visually appropriate for creating) a desired effect, and a tag referring to one or more words that describe a color theme. The automatic tag identification system receives an indication of the multiple colors (e.g., five colors) for a color theme. A first machine learning system uses the indicated multiple colors to generate a color theme embedding for the color theme, which is a vector encoding or embedding of the color theme. The second machine learning system uses the color theme embedding generated by the first machine learning system to generate one or more tags that label the color theme. These one or more tags can then be saved as associated with or corresponding to the multiple colors for the color theme.

Pattern recorder for strategically hidden speakers system

A smart phone with an application for electronically photographing a section of a patterned ceiling along with a color and grayscale calibration template surrounding the small speaker system installation site, storing the image, uploading the image to a computer that has color correction software, correcting the color of the image, and printing the image on a steel ring and a steel disc for magnetic attachment to a diffuser of a small ceiling speaker system.

Enhanced color palette systems and methods for infrared imaging

Imaging systems and methods are disclosed for generating enhanced visual representations of captured data such as infrared image data. For example, the perceived color distance or contrast between colors representing adjacent output levels (e.g., temperature or infrared intensity levels) are enhanced in visual representations of infrared images. According to embodiments, infrared image data values representing a scene may be mapped according to a color palette implemented using complementary colors as adjacent (e.g., successive) base colors or a sequence of colors, that repeats a predetermine set of hues with varying saturation and/or intensity, thereby increasing the color contrast between pixels representing subtle temperature differences in the scene. The color palette can be enlarged by mapping a larger number of distinct output levels to a larger sequence of colors, for example by increasing the bit-depth of the color palette, such that color transitions look smoother and more natural.
