Vehicle wheel service apparatus
A vehicle wheel service apparatus that includes: a frame; a plurality of working tools, connected to the frame and movable to perform operations for mounting and/or demounting the tyre relative to the wheel rim; a shaft driven by an actuator rotationally about a longitudinal axis and connectable to the rim; a measuring system for generating vibration signals representing vibrations of the shaft produced by wheel imbalances; a control unit, connected to the measuring system to receive the vibration signals; a support device, connected to the frame and movable between an activated position, where it encircles the shaft while still allowing it to rotate, and a deactivated position, where it is spaced from the shaft; a connector, movable between a working position, where it mechanically connects the measuring system to the frame, and a rest position, where the measuring system is mechanically disengaged from the frame.
Dynamic balance testing device
A dynamic balance testing device includes a vibrating unit configured to rotatably hold a predetermined rotating body being a specimen, a first spring configured to elastically support the vibrating unit and restrict displacement of the vibrating unit in a direction parallel to a rotation axis of the predetermined rotating body, and at least three second springs configured to elastically support the vibrating unit and restrict displacement of the vibrating unit in a predetermined direction orthogonal to the rotation axis. The at least three second springs are attached to the vibrating unit on a same predetermined plane, and the vibrating unit holds the predetermined rotating body such that a projection of a center of gravity of the predetermined rotating body onto the predetermined plane is substantially at the same position as a position where the first spring is attached to the vibrating unit.
Balance guide for a tubular element
A test apparatus determines the state of torsional balance of an elongate device about its longitudinal axis. It has a base plate, supporting two sets of longitudinally spaced-apart low-friction roller bearings. The second bearings are mounted on the base at a higher location than the first bearings. A support for the second bearings has a side opening to allow lateral movement of the device under test into engagement with the underside of the second bearings which resting on the upper side of the first bearings. The device under test may be a rifle or a golf putter, the barrel or shaft respectively of which is supported on the roller bearings of the first set and in contact with the underside of the second bearings. The device will rotate about the longitudinal axis if not balanced about the axis. It is very easy and convenient for the user to place the tube in the guide to check for balance whenever checking balance of the item. The side opening allows use with a variety of devices having irregular shapes along its length.
RETAINING SYSTEM FOR ROTOR BALANCING
An assembly of a rotating component and a rotationally stationary component includes a first bearing portion located at the rotating component and rotatable therewith, and a second bearing portion located at the rotationally stationary component. The second bearing portion is supported at the rotationally stationary component and rotatably with the rotating component when in contact with the first bearing portion. The first bearing portion and the second bearing portion define a single point contact therebetween.

FAN INSPECTION JIG
A fan inspection jig includes a jig assembly having multiple spring abutment pillars for holding two sides of a fan (or a series fan) to make the fan or the series fan positioned in a suspending position. A vibration sensor is disposed in at least one of the spring abutment pillars of two sides of the fan for measuring a vibration signal of the fan in operation.

Balancing adapter for a balancing device, balancing device and balancing adapter set
A balancing adapter for a balancing device has a clamping device for clamping a workpiece. The clamping device has a clamping sleeve element with a clamping sleeve, and a clamping element that can be moved relative to the clamping sleeve element. The clamping sleeve has a taper, and the clamping element has a mating taper corresponding to the clamping sleeve taper. The clamping diameter of the clamping sleeve can be adjusted, and thus a workpiece can be clamped, by moving the clamping element relative to the clamping sleeve element. The clamping sleeve element is releasably connectable to a base body of the balancing adapter. Accordingly, for connection to the base body, the clamping sleeve element has an annular flange by which, in the connected state of the clamping sleeve element and the base body, the clamping sleeve element rests on an end wall of the base body.
Bearing element inspection system and method
A first nest structure and a second nest structure are brought into alignment. When the alignment of the first nest structure and second nest structure is obtained, the operation of at least one vacuum pump is controlled such that a bearing element is released from the first nest structure and secured in the second nest structure. Movement of the bearing element from the first nest structure to the second nest structure occurs without slippage resulting in preservation of a common frame of reference used when the bearing element is in the first nest structure and the second nest structure.
