Determination of pulley ratio of a belt-drive blower
11549861 · 2023-01-10 · ·

An HVAC system includes a blower. The blower includes a driven pulley and a motor with a driver pulley. A motor drive supplies electrical power to the motor. A controller receives a benchmark rate of the flow of air provided by the blower and a corresponding benchmark output current of the motor drive. A benchmark input power corresponding to the benchmark output current is determined based on a predetermined relationship between input power and output current for the motor drive. A ratio of the benchmark rate of the flow of air provided by the blower to the benchmark input power is determined. The controller determines a pulley ratio for the blower based on this ratio.

Apparatus and method for measuring magnetic properties of a ferromagnetic endless belt

An apparatus for determining magnetic properties of a portion of a magnetizable endless belt. The apparatus includes a primary coil for generating a magnetic field. The windings of the primary coil are wound around the endless belt. A secondary coil measures the magnetic flux density. A slotted yoke guides the magnetic flux. The endless belt extends through slots in the yoke. First measuring devices measure the magnetic field in a width portion parallel to the endless belt. Second measuring devices measure the magnetic field in the width portion parallel to the endless belt.

A method for determining the tension of a drive belt, wherein the drive belt is provided for transmission of a torque generated by a drive unit to a load, for example, a door leaf of a door system includes a first process step a., the load is moved from a moving state into a rest state. In a following process step b., the motor voltage is recorded during execution of process step a. and the time-resolved motor voltage curve is prepared. In step c., the motor current is determined from the recorded motor voltage or the motor voltage curve and a time-resolved motor current curve is prepared. In a last step d., the time-resolved motor current curve is evaluated and the tension of the drive belt is determined by means of selected curve features of the motor current curve.

In some implementations, a controller may obtain, during an event, pressure data regarding an amount of pressure of fluid associated with a component of the machine. The controller may obtain, during the event, flow data regarding a flow of the fluid associated with the component of the machine. The controller may determine, based on the pressure data and the flow data, an amount of wear of a track of the machine. The controller may perform an action based on the amount of wear of the track of the machine.

VIBRATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, VIBRATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM

A vibration processing apparatus (10) includes a vibration information acquisition unit (110), a reference region setting unit (120), and a determination unit (130). The vibration information acquisition unit (110) acquires detection data indicating a detection result of a vibration sensor (222). The vibration information acquisition unit (110) generates vibration information by processing the detection data. The vibration information indicates magnitude of amplitude by frequency. The reference region setting unit (120) generates data indicating a reference region set in the vibration information. The reference region indicates, by frequency, a range of amplitude in which a belt conveyor (20) is determined to be normal. When amplitude is outside the reference region at any frequency in the vibration information generated at a certain timing, the determination unit (130) determines that an abnormality occurs in a monitoring target at the timing.
