Multi-Modal Diagnostic Test Apparatus
A multi-modal diagnostic test reading apparatus, comprising: a diagnostic test assembly receiving component; at least one image sensor; a plurality of light sources having respective different spectral properties; and a controller; wherein the controller is configured to: (i) control operation of the light sources and the at least one image sensor to acquire a plurality of images, each of the acquired images representing at least a corresponding portion of the diagnostic test assembly as illuminated by a corresponding one of the light sources; and (ii) process the acquired images to determine a diagnostic test result of the diagnostic test, the diagnostic test result being dependent upon the processed images representing illumination by respective ones of the light sources having respective different spectral properties.
Computer-implemented method of thin-film selection for spectroscopy
Computer-implemented methods and computer-readable media are disclosed for providing a spectroscopic film selection tool to select one or more of a plurality of films for use in a spectroscopic analysis. At a first computing system, a spectroscopic film selection tool is stored in a non-transitory storage medium. The spectroscopic film selection tool includes a set of machine-readable instructions configured to execute on a second computing system. The machine-readable instructions are configured to elicit user input regarding attributes of a spectroscopic analysis and, based on the user input, identify one or more of a plurality of films for use in a spectroscopic analysis based on film data for each of the plurality of films. The film selection tool also includes a store of the film data for each of the plurality of films including data relating to suitability of each of the plurality of films including a film type, a film thickness, a chemical resistance to one or more types of chemicals, and energy transmittance properties. The first computing system is communicatively coupled with a network from which the second computing system is able to download the spectroscopic film selection tool. Following the download of the spectroscopic film selection tool at the second computing system, a user of the second computing system is able to execute the spectroscopic film selection tool on the second computing system.
Trace moisture analyzer instrument, gas sampling and analyzing system, and method of detecting trace moisture levels in a gas
An analyzer instrument, gas sampling and analyzing system, and method are disclosed for detecting water vapor in gas using tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy at a wavelength of 1871 nm plus or minus 2 nm.
Data processing apparatus, optical detection system, data processing method, and data processing program
There is provided a data processing apparatus including: a data determination portion that specifies, in each of first and second light intensity distribution data, an analysis range corresponding to a storage area for storing a detection target, the first and second light intensity distribution data being acquired on the basis of light emitted from first and light sources to a detection area; and a mode selection portion that selects an operation mode of the data determination portion. The mode selection portion selects one of a first mode in which the data determination portion specifies the analysis range in each of the first light intensity distribution data and the second light intensity distribution data, and a second mode in which the data determination portion specifies the analysis range in the second light intensity distribution data on the basis of information on the analysis range of the first light intensity distribution data.
Imaging system
Disclosed is an imaging system which includes an imaging device to be used by multiple users, allows each user to perform imaging at an appropriate timing, and is capable of efficiently using the imaging device. An imaging system includes an imaging device, a plurality of terminal devices, and an authorization unit which gives the terminal devices the authority to specify controllable functions of the imaging device. The authorization unit switches between a first state where the terminal devices are given a first authority to exclusively occupy a part of functions of the imaging device with a controllable state and a second state where one terminal device is given a second authority to exclusively occupy and control the part of functions and to release the occupation, and the terminal devices other than one terminal device are given a third authority with the restriction of the control of the part of functions.
MICROSCOPE AND MICROSCOPE CONTROL METHOD
The microscope includes: a light source which can be directly controlled between ON and OFF; an illumination optical system which radiates the light to form an illumination region on a sample; an optical path change member which changes an optical path of the light; and a control unit which controls the light source and the optical path change member, wherein the control unit controls the optical path change member, and performs a control to switch between first and second states and to set the light source to be ON in the second state, the first state being one in which the illumination region is formed when the light source is ON, and the illumination region is not formed when the light source is OFF, and the second state being one in which the illumination region is not formed when the light source is either ON or OFF.
