LABORATORY AUTOMATION DEVICE WITH TRANSPARENT DISPLAY IN DOOR
A laboratory automation device comprises a workspace with liquid containers and a pipetting arm for moving liquids between the liquid containers; a housing enclosing the workspace; a door of the housing for accessing the workspace, wherein the door comprises a transparent display for displaying information and for allowing a person to view into the workspace and a tracking sensor for tracking an eye position of the person. The laboratory automation device is adapted for determining the eye position of the person from sensor data acquired with the tracking sensor; and for displaying information for a notification area in the workspace on the transparent display, such that the information is displayed from a perspective of the person in front of the notification area.

An automatic analyzer includes: an analysis unit including a plurality of operation units for performing analysis of a specimen; and a control unit for controlling the analysis unit. The control unit allows the analysis unit to set to at least (a) an analysis operation mode in which a first and a second operation unit are operated for the analysis of the specimen, (b) a partial operation mode in which only the first operation unit is continuously operated after the analysis of the specimen is completed in the analysis operation mode, and (c) a reagent exchange mode in which consumables containing a reagent are exchangeable in the analysis unit. The control unit allows the analysis unit to shift from the partial operation mode to the reagent exchange mode.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURE OF ENGINEERED CELLS
The present disclosure provides self-centering assemblies, cartridges, pump assemblies, grippers, and other systems, methods, and apparatuses for manufacture of a cell therapy. A gripper includes a gripping unit and a gear unit for connecting and disconnecting connectors, tubes, syringes, or other devices that require twisting of a locking element for a successful fluid connection. In some cases, a gripper also includes a draw/injection unit to draw and inject fluid through the connections. A gripper can be operated by a robotic arm or other versatile manufacturing equipment.
MICROSCOPE
A microscope includes: a sample chamber; a microscope stage arranged below the sample chamber, the microscope stage having a top surface for receiving a sample carrier in an examining position, in which a sample arranged on the sample carrier is microscopically examinable; a sample carrier storing unit arranged within the sample chamber for receiving the sample carrier in at least one storing position; and a sample carrier handling device for moving the sample carrier between the storing position and the examination position.
GAS SENSOR, MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND DETECTION METHOD
A gas sensor for detecting a physical and/or chemical value of an analysis gas, a corresponding manufacturing method, and operating method. The gas sensor is based on the principle of a thermal conductivity measurement with the aid of a sensor structure including a double meander structure made up of two resistor lines, as part of a Wheatstone bridge circuit, on a diaphragm of a substrate. The two resistor lines are energized in opposite directions as a function of the detected temperature. The physical and/or chemical value(s) of the analysis gas are/is subsequently determined as a function of the voltages detected at the double meander structure.
TESTING SYSTEM
A testing system collects a specimen from a subject and measures the collected specimen to test the specimen, and includes a box to allow at least one of specimen collection for collecting and receiving the specimen, preprocessing for processing the collected specimen before measurement, or specimen measurement for measuring the preprocessed specimen to be performed therein.
Automatic analysis device
In order to aspire to higher sensitivity in an automatic analysis device, it is important to prevent the mixing of dust and the like in a reaction part in which a sample and a reagent react. The present invention presents an automatic analysis device that is provided with a configuration for making the pressure inside a specific block in the device such as a reaction part, or inside the device become positive. By making the pressure become positive and forming an air flow that flows out from the inside of the reaction part or the device, it is possible to limit, to a certain amount or less, the amount of dust penetrating into the reaction part.
Safety light curtain to disable carousel rotation
A digital slide scanning apparatus includes a safety light curtain that operates to disable the motor that rotates the carousel when the presence of an object (e.g., the fingers of an operator) is detected within a predetermined area of the carousel. The light curtain also operates to disable the motor that rotates the carousel when an improperly positioned glass slide or slide rack is detected. The digital slide scanning apparatus also includes a multi-color status indicator for each rack slot that indicates the rack slot location of an improperly positioned glass slide or slide rack.

Equipment for the control of the industrial contamination of industrial components comprising at least one base frame; and an extraction unit/device/component of contaminating impurities from at least one industrial component, mounted on the base frame and provided with a washing unit/device/component of the industrial component by way of an operating fluid adapted to remove the contaminating impurities from said industrial component, the operating fluid mixing with the contaminating impurities to obtain an operating mixture following the washing of the industrial component; and a preparation unit/device/component of at least one analysis sample of the contaminating impurities removed from the industrial component starting from the operating mixture, wherein the equipment comprises an analysis unit/device/component of the analysis sample mounted on the base frame and adapted to detect at least one analytical data which is characteristic of the contaminating impurities.

This sample container gripping device for gripping a sample container accommodating a sample is characterized by comprising a pair of clamps that are kept outside of a conveyance path, which is for conveying a sample carrier upon which the sample container is placed, until the sample carrier is conveyed to a prescribed position and, when the sample carrier is conveyed to the prescribed position, move horizontally toward the conveyance path so as to grip the sample container from the horizontal direction at the prescribed position.
