Blow moulding apparatus with clean room and inspection of containers
Provided is an apparatus for processing containers and in particular for reshaping plastic preforms into plastic containers, including a transport device which transports the containers along a predetermined transport path, wherein this transport device has a movable support, on which a plurality of processing stations are arranged, which in each case are suitable and intended for processing the plastic preforms, with a clean room, which surrounds at least portions of the transport path of the plastic preforms and which is delimited by at least one wall relative to the environment. Further, the apparatus has at least one inspection device for inspecting the containers, wherein this inspection device has an image capturing device, wherein this image capturing device is arranged at least partially outside the clean room and monitors at least one region of the containers through at least one wall of the clean room.
Systems, methods and apparatus for autonomous diagnostic verification of optical components of vision-based inspection systems
Methods of autonomous diagnostic verification and detection of defects in the optical components of a vision-based inspection system are provided. The method includes illuminating a light panel with a first light intensity pattern, capturing a first image of the first light intensity pattern with a sensor, illuminating the light panel with a second light intensity pattern different than the first light intensity pattern, capturing a second image of the second light intensity pattern with the sensor, comparing the first image and the second image to generate a comparison of images, and identifying defects in the light panel or the sensor based upon the comparison of images. Systems adapted to carry out the methods are provided as are other aspects.
Drug Capsule Appearance Inspection Device
A drug capsule appearance inspection device is provided having a simplified structure so as to have the effect of inspecting the appearance of drug capsules more rapidly and efficiently and reducing costs. To this end, the device includes: a guide plate (10) having a plurality of capsule accommodating grooves (11) formed therein so that drug capsules (P) can be accommodated; and a bottom friction surface (20) that allows the drug capsules (P) to rotate by friction when the guide plate (10) moves horizontally.
Container Visual Inspection Assembly and Method
Assemblies (10), devices, and methods are described herein that allow an examiner to inspect a container (12) of liquid product (14) through a bottom wall (18) of the container using a line-of-sight diversion member (28, e.g. beam splitter, mirror or prism). In some forms, the assemblies described herein can be provided with mounts and connecting arms to couple the devices to inspection booths.
MANUAL INSPECTION WORKSTATION
A manual inspection workstation, including abase and a body pivotally connected to one another and moveable between an upright position and compacted stowed position. A hood is connected to the body opposite the base and at least partially houses a light source. The manual inspection workstation includes a surface coating with physical properties that meet and exceed various FDA and U.S. Pharmacopeia guidelines and requirements. The light source includes a plurality of lighting options including intensity, color output, hue, and saturation. The light source further includes a communications module that allows multiple light sources to be wired together In a sequence or ring. The communications module further includes wireless connectivity to a remote computing device. The light source may further include an internal microprocessor and memory for instituting certain preconfigured light profile protocols.
Camera-based drug container inspection
An inspection system for a drug container is provided to identify foreign matter, such as particles or fibers, within the drug container prior to filling with a drug. The system includes a camera device aligned with an axis of the drug container and captures a series of images of an interior surface of a sidewall of the drug container while the robot causes relative movement between the drug container and the camera device along a linear path. Atypical lighting, which improves contrast between particles and the background in images is employed to aid detection. A control circuit then processes the series of images to identify foreign matter within the drug container.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING CONTAINERS WHICH ARE AT LEAST PARTIALLY TRANSPARENT TO A PREDETERMINED ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION
An apparatus for inspecting containers includes a rotation device which is adapted to rotate the container about the axis of symmetry; a camera sensitive to said predetermined electromagnetic radiation and with the container located in the field of view thereof; a processing unit to control the rotation device to move the container at a first angular speed constant for a first time period; acquiring at least a first and a second series of images of a portion of the container in a rotation thereof through 360′; to identify defective areas having at least one characteristic different from the characteristics of adjacent areas, generating first and second maps of the defective areas; to compare the position of the defective areas of the maps; to establish that first impurities are present in the container or in the liquid contained in the container.
COMPACT APPARATUS FOR BATCH VIAL INSPECTION
Methods and apparatus of inspection tools for inspecting impurities in vials are provided herein. In some embodiments, an inspection tool for inspecting impurities in vials includes: a table for inspecting a plurality of vials; one or more carts configured to move about the table to place the one or more carts in an inspection position, wherein each of the one or more carts includes a vial holder configured to hold a plurality of vials, and wherein each vial holder is configured to spin the plurality of vials on their own respective axes; and a camera configured to take images of the plurality of vials when the plurality of vials are disposed in the inspection position.
Glass manufacturing apparatus and method
An apparatus and method for manufacturing glass containers handles the containers individually after a hot forming process and annealing to prevent glass-to-glass contact. By handling the containers individually and preventing glass-to-glass contact damage to the containers in the form of checks and scratches is avoided. To prevent contact of the containers and damage arising from the contact, the equipment including conveyors, pushers, starwheels, shuttles, and transfer heads that move the glass containers through the apparatus maintains the glass containers in uniform spaced relationship at each stage of container processing until the containers are packaged.
Method and device for conveying containers in a suspended position
The invention relates to a method for conveying in translation, in a transport zone, glass containers (2) held in a suspended position between two slide rails on which slides a counter-ring (7) arranged on each container which has a ring surface (8) defining the opening of the container, the method consisting of ensuring the movement in translation of the containers (2) by a bearing surface (18a) of at least one belt (18) driven in translation and exerting mechanical pressure on each ring surface (8) of the containers (2) to create a bond by adherence between each ring surface (8) of the containers and the bearing surface (18a) of the belt.
