A method and apparatus for simulating spectral representation of a region of interest is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a physical characteristic of a geospatial portion of the region of interest, associating the determined physical characteristic with a material of a spectral library, the spectral library having at least one spectral definition material, associating the spectral definition of the material with the geospatial portion of the region of interest, wherein the material is at least partially representative of the geospatial section of the region of interest, and generating the simulated spectral representation of the region of interest at least in part from at least the associated spectral definition of the at least one material.

EXPERIMENTAL DEVICES FOR SIMULATING EROSION OF TUBING STRINGS CAUSED BY SAND PRODUCTION
The present disclosure provides an experimental device for simulating the erosion of a tubing string caused by sand production. The experimental device includes an autoclave, a circulating assembly, a power assembly, a monitoring assembly, or a three-phase feeding assembly. The circulating assembly is sealed and arranged in the autoclave, the circulating assembly includes a circulation loop formed by straight pipes and elbows. The power assembly includes a pump arranged on the circulation loop. The monitoring assembly includes a flowmeter and a temperature and pressure sensor for detecting the circulation loop, and the temperature and pressure sensor is communicatively connected with a PC. The three-phase feeding assembly includes a feeding pipe that is in fluid communication with the circulation loop, and the feeding pipe is connected with one or more gas tanks, a sander feeder, and one or more liquid tanks, respectively.

The pressure-bearing device comprises pressure-bearing blocks, a casing pipe and sealing rings, wherein the two pressure-bearing blocks are respectively arranged at two ends of a to-be-tested rock mass; the casing pipe can be arranged outside the to-be-tested rock mass and the pressure-bearing blocks in a sleeving mode and is attached to the to-be-tested rock mass and the pressure-bearing blocks; and the sealing rings are arranged outside the pressure-bearing blocks and the casing pipe in a sleeving mode, so that the sealing rings can be tightly pressed on the casing pipe and the pressure-bearing blocks through fastening elements. Further disclosed is a sealing method for simulating an excavation unloading test of a high-energy-storage rock mass.

An integral tension test system for a large-tonnage basalt fiber anchor cable includes: a plurality of basalt fiber anchoring bars each comprising a basalt fiber reinforced plastic (BFRP) bundle, a steel strand, a first and a second steel casing pipes, the BFRP bundle including a plurality of BFRPs, and a grating array temperature, stress and vibration sensing optical cables bonded in the BFRP; a vibration table and a reaction frame arranged thereon, wherein the first steel casing pipe of the basalt fiber anchoring bar is located in the reaction frame, the steel strand penetrates one end of the reaction frame to be connected to a center hole jack, and the second steel casing pipe of each basalt fiber anchor cable is located outside the reaction frame to be anchored; and a data acquisition module connected to all of the grating array temperature, stress and vibration sensing optical cables.

INTRA-LAYER REINFORCEMENT METHOD, AND CONSOLIDATION AND RECONSTRUCTION SIMULATION EXPERIMENT SYSTEM AND EVALUATION METHOD FOR GAS HYDRATE FORMATION
An intra-layer reinforcement method, and a consolidation and reconstruction simulation experiment system and an evaluation method for a gas hydrate formation are provided. In the intra-layer reinforcement method, the formation reconstruction and fracturing grouting reinforcement technologies are combined; a fracturing grouting process is adopted to create fractures in the gas hydrate formation; and a consolidation liquid enters the fractures and penetrates into the formation through a pressure difference to form a reinforcement with a ribbed slab structure and a specified strength and permeability, which supports the formation to achieve collapse prevention and sand prevention. A specific consolidation and reconstruction simulation experiment system is adopted, where the necessary conditions for the generation and decomposition of a hydrate are tested, and the fracturing, formation consolidation, and cementing experiments are simulated to study a rational exploitation method of a gas hydrate, thereby solving the problem of sand production of the hydrate layer.

Portable soil mass in-situ shear test device and test method thereof
A portable soil body in-situ shear test device includes: an active force system arranged externally, a passive shear system and an electromagnetic loading system arranged internally, and a ring knife system arranged at a bottom. Compared with the conventional in-situ soil shear strength test device and test method, the present invention is convenient to install and carry as well as simple to operate, and has strong applicability. The present invention is suitable for layered soils with large cross-plate shear test errors, and for soils with different consolidation degrees at various sites and various terrains. A test method adopting the device can simulate the shear strength of the soil mass under different overburden loads without disturbing the mechanical properties of the in-situ soil mass, which has high promotion value in the test of in-situ soil shear strength.
