Inspection method and manufacturing method for molded resin product as well as inspection device and manufacturing device for molded resin product

For the purpose of enabling high-accuracy detection as to whether a molded resin product is a non-defective product or a defective product and advance detection of a molded resin product that may suffer deformation or the like in the future, the present invention relates to an inspection method and a manufacturing method for a molded resin product as well as an inspection device and a manufacturing device for a molded resin product, wherein, in an inspection of a joint interface of a molded resin product divided into a plurality of members, the height positions of defect candidates are measured from the results of detecting X rays radiated via at least two paths when the X rays are transmitted through the molded resin product, which makes it possible to detect a defect with high accuracy.

Method for detecting a critical defect in a ceramic rolling element

Method for detecting at least one critical defect in a ceramic rolling element providing the steps of capturing a plurality of two-dimensional digital radiographic images of the ceramic rolling element; digitally filtering each radiographic image; delineating, on the basis of the filtered image, at least one region liable to comprise the critical defect; constructing stereoscopically a virtual model of the ceramic rolling element having the region; comparing the dimensions of the delineated region with a plurality of predetermined threshold values, and, when the dimensions are greater than the threshold values, generating an alarm signal.

RADIOTHERAPY APPARATUS WITH ON-BOARD STEREOTACTIC IMAGING SYSTEM

The present invention provides a radiotherapy apparatus (100) to generate both photon and electron beam mounted with dual KV beam ray source used for stereotactic imaging and CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) image with a greater FOV (Field Of View). The apparatus (IOO) comprises of a ring gantry (101), which includes at least two KV sources (102a and 102b), at least two movable detector (103 and 104) and a LINAC X-ray tube (106). The two movable detectors (103, 104) include a first movable detector (104) and a second movable detector (103). The second movable detector (103) has mechanism capture a half fan mode of X-ray beam of imaging radiation with a greater FOV having 250×450 mm. The half fan mode of X ray is captured by moving the second movable detector (103) or first movable detector (104) further towards the ISO centre (105) of the ring gantry (101).

X-RAY IMAGING SYSTEM, METHOD AND SHUTTER

An X-ray imaging system includes an X-ray detector; a plurality of X-ray sources configured to illuminate the detector from different perspectives; a shutter in a transmission plane between each X-ray source controlling transmission of X-rays from each X-ray source to the detector; and a processor configured to receive and process X-ray data from the detector. The shutter may be configured to illuminate the detector alternately with each X-ray source. The processor may determine 3D information about an object from the processed X-ray data. Also provided are methods for processing X-ray data and different embodiments of shutters to alternately illuminate X-ray detectors.

Neutron radiography method and apparatus for the implementation thereof

A method and apparatus for neutron radiography is provided for the examination of elongate radioactive items, primarily nuclear fuel elements, and also for the non-destructive testing of irradiated and non-irradiated objects in order to determine the internal structure and material composition thereof. The method and apparatus include placing an object under examination into a protective container. A detection system includes a rotatable limb with a mounting seat for securing neutron detectors in a diametric groove. The limb being mounted to be rotatable by a set angle about an axis parallel to the axis of the object under examination and having a semi-circular recess therein for the passage of an elongate object as the limb rotates by an angle ±α.sub.i relative to the direction of a neutron beam.

Apparatus and method for three-dimensional inspection of an object by x-rays

An apparatus and method for three-dimensional inspection of an object by X-rays. The apparatus includes an X-ray generator and a digital imaging device spaced from each other by a distance which defines a magnification by 1 on the imaging device. The apparatus also includes a means for moving the X-ray generator and identically the imaging device by unitary movements in two orthogonal directions. Each unitary movement corresponds to an integer number fraction of the side of the imaging device, and obtains, by successive shots after each unitary movement, a matrix set of sub-images overlapping in the plane of extension of the imaging device. Each sub-image has a center with coordinates in a plane of magnification equal to N. An image processing means performs magnification of each sub-image and determines a stretch factor enabling the coincidence of the sub-images representing all or part of a predefined element of interest.

3-dimensional x-ray imager

The invention utilizes one exposure without moving parts to provide multiple x-ray views of an object. It relies on a 3D detector, which can be a stack of film plates, and a specified focusing x-ray optic. The x-ray optic, discussed below, allows collection of x-rays from a localized volume, just like an ordinary optical lens, and the stacked film plate, or other 3D detector design, allows collection of the multiple focal plane information from one line of sight.
