A pharmaceutical composition contains activated T cells that selectively recognize cells in a patient that aberrantly express a peptide, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, in which the T cells bind to the peptide in a complex with an MHC class I molecule, and the composition is for treating the patient who has HCC, CRC, GB, GC, esophageal cancer, NSCLC, PC, RCC, BPH, PCA, OC, melanoma, BRCA, CLL, MCC, SCLC, NHL, AML, GBC, CCC, UBC, and/or UEC. A method of treating a patient who has HCC, CRC, GB, GC, esophageal cancer, NSCLC, PC, RCC, BPH, PCA, OC, melanoma, BRCA, CLL, MCC, SCLC, NHL, AML, GBC, CCC, UBC, and/or UEC includes administering to said patient a composition comprising a peptide in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, thereby inducing a T-cell response to the HCC, CRC, GB, GC, esophageal cancer, NSCLC, PC, RCC, BPH, PCA, OC, melanoma, BRCA, CLL, MCC, SCLC, NHL, AML, GBC, CCC, UBC, and/or UEC.
Method of isolating circulating tumor cells
Provided are methods for detecting or isolating circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in a subject. The methods may include detecting the expression of at least one epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) biomarker. Further provided are kits for detecting or isolating CTCs. The kits may include antibodies to at least one EMT biomarker. Further provided are methods of predicting the responsiveness of a subject to a cancer drug, methods of targeting delivery of a cancer drug in a subject, methods of providing a cancer prognosis to a subject, and methods for following the progress of cancer in a subject.
Peptides and combination of peptides for use in immunotherapy against various tumors
The present invention relates to peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and cells for use in immunotherapeutic methods. In particular, the present invention relates to the immunotherapy of cancer. The present invention furthermore relates to tumor-associated T-cell peptide epitopes, alone or in combination with other tumor-associated peptides that can for example serve as active pharmaceutical ingredients of vaccine compositions that stimulate anti-tumor immune responses, or to stimulate T cells ex vivo and transfer into patients. Peptides bound to molecules of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC), or peptides as such, can also be targets of antibodies, soluble T-cell receptors, and other binding molecules.
USES AND APPLICATIONS IN CANCER AND OTHER PROLIFERATIVE CONDI-TIONS OF ONCOPROTEIN CSP80 AND AGENTS INTERACTING WITH ONCOPROTEIN CSP80
The methods of the present invention provide a new diagnostic marker for proliferative conditions and cancers, such as ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer and others. A truncation of MAP1a, CSP80 is an oncoprotein identified as being present in bodily fluids, or contents thereof, of a subject when afflicted with a proliferative condition. The present invention disclosed diagnosis and monitoring of a proliferative condition by detection of CSP80. Additionally, the present invention discloses a targeted treatment of proliferative conditions utilizing CSP80 binding agents, via a variety of delivery vehicles such as nanoparticles.
NMR measurements of NMR biomarker GlycA
Biomarkers and/or risk assessments identify patients having an increased risk of certain clinical disease states including, for example, CHD, type 2 diabetes, dementia, or all-cause death (ACD) using NMR signal to measure a level of “GlycA” in arbitrary units or in defined units (e.g., μmol/L) that can be determined using a defined single peak region of proton NMR spectra. The GlycA measurement can be used as an inflammation biomarker for clinical disease states. The NMR signal for GlycA can include a fitting region of signal between about 2.080 ppm and 1.845 ppm of the proton NMR spectra.

The present invention provides a method for assessing the possibility of onset or progression of chronic kidney allograft rejection or chronic kidney disease in a test subject, by using, as an indicator, the level of SYT17 protein in a urine-derived specimen collected from the test subject. The present invention also provides: a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating chronic kidney allograft rejection or chronic kidney disease, the pharmaceutical composition including at least one substance selected from the group consisting of a specific antibody to SYT17, a derivative of the specific antibody, and an inhibitory nucleic acid against SYT17; and a test kit for use in assessing the possibility of onset or progression of chronic kidney allograft rejection or chronic kidney disease, the test kit including a specific antibody to SYT17 or a derivative of the specific antibody.
Disease detection method
The present invention is a method for detecting a specific disease based on the result of a measurement in which the amount of a peptide serving as a biomarker contained in a biological sample is determined by using an LC-MS. A pretreatment process performed before the measurement using the LC-MS includes the steps of preparing a mixed sample solution by adding a stable isotope reagent and a trifluoroacetic acid to the biological sample, where the stable isotope reagent is prepared beforehand by labeling the peptide with a stable isotope; boiling the mixed sample solution; injecting the mixed sample solution after boiled into a solid-phase extraction column to make the peptide be retained in the solid-phase extraction column; and passing a water-soluble organic solvent through the solid-phase extraction column to elute the peptide retained in the solid-phase extraction column and collect the eluate.
