In some embodiments, a method and an apparatus for processing data for reconstructing an ultrasound image are provided, which are capable of storing first frame data generated by a focused ultrasound in a realtime display mode and a parameter for the first frame data, and when a specific event is detected as occurring, and additionally storing second frame data generated by an unfocused ultrasound and a parameter for the second frame data, thus expanding the scope of application of the data for an image reconstruction and acquiring various formats of improved ultrasound images.
