SAMPLE ANALYSIS DEVICE
A sample analysis substrate mountable and detachable to a sample analysis device and includes: a plate-shaped base substrate; and a chamber, the chamber being a space in which to cause a binding reaction, The sample analysis device includes: a motor to rotate the sample analysis substrate; a first magnet unit to attract the magnetic particles; a first actuator to move the first magnet unit to change relative positions of the first magnet unit and the sample analysis substrate; and a control circuit to control the motor, the drive circuit, and the first actuator. The first magnet unit shaped as a whole shape or a partial shape of a circle or a ring. During a B/F separation for separating reacted substance from unreacted substance, the first actuator moves the first magnet unit to a position where the magnetic particles in the chamber are attracted by the first magnet unit.
Automatic analysis device
A sample dispensing mechanism configured to dispense a sample and a reagent to the reaction vessel at a first dispensing position and the reaction cell positioned at a second dispensing position; a second reagent vessel disposed on a track of the sample dispensing mechanism; and a control unit configured to control the sample dispensing mechanism, in which the control unit is configured to, based on information on presence or absence of incubation of an analysis item, control the sample dispensing mechanism to dispense a sample and a reagent to the reaction vessel positioned at the first dispensing position in a case where the incubation is not required by the analysis item, and control the sample dispensing mechanism to dispense a sample to the reaction cell positioned at the second dispensing position in a case where the incubation is required by the analysis item.
AUTOMATIC ANALYZER
According to one embodiment, an automatic analyzer includes dispenser, measurer, thermostat, cooler and cleaner. Dispenser dispenses a specimen and a reagent into a reaction vessel. Measurer measures a solution mixture of the specimen and the reagent in the vessel. Thermostat heats the mixture to a first temperature at which thermoresponsive polymers contained in the reagent aggregate. Cooler cools a cleaning fluid used to clean the vessel to a second temperature lower than the first temperature, at which the polymers contained in the reagent disperse. Cleaner cleans the vessel from which the mixture has been drained, using the cooled fluid.
METHOD FOR MONITORING SLIDING CONTACTS
The invention relates to a measuring system for measuring a sample in an automated analysis machine. The measuring system comprises a measuring device for recording measurement values of a measured variable and a first controller and a second controller for processing the measurement values and a sliding contact system with sliding contacts, wherein the measurement values are transferred from the measuring device to the first controller and wherein the measurement values are transferred from the first controller to the second controller via the sliding contacts. The measuring system comprises an error counter which captures the errors occurring during the transfer of the measurement values from the first controller to the second controller via the sliding contacts.
TRANSPORT OF LIQUID CONTAINERS IN AN AUTOMATED ANALYZER
The invention relates to a device and a method for the transfer of a liquid container with the aid of a clamping gripper in an automated analyzer. For this purpose, the clamping gripper has a controllable expansion device.
AUTOMATED ANALYZER AND LIQUID RESERVOIR
Provided are an automated analyzer for analyzing a substance contained in an unknown sample and a liquid reservoir, the analyzer and the reservoir being capable of saving users' operation without remarkably increasing the number of components. A flow path outlet of an overflow portion of the liquid reservoirs projects closer to the inner circumferential side of a drain flow path than to an inner circumferential surface side of an outer wall of the drain flow path serving as a destination to which liquid overflows. In addition, the flow path outlet projects so as to come into contact with an outer wall of the inner pipe. The flow path outlet of the overflow portion projects into the drain flow path so as to be located below an upper end of the outer wall of the drain flow path.
MICROBIAL ANALYSIS WITHOUT CELL PURIFICATION
The invention provides systems and methods for rapid automated identification of microbes and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) directly from a patient specimen, without specimen preparation. Specimens are loaded into an analytical cartridge for processing. Analytical cartridges are preloaded with species-specific labels that are used to identify and enumerate microbes in the specimen. Instruments, such as analyzers can be used to interact with analytical cartridges to carry out methods of the invention all within the cartridge.
Automatic analyzer
The automatic analyzer includes a light source 4a to perform measurement, a spectrophotometer 4, a reagent disk 9 to store a reagent bottle 10 in which the reagent is stored, a carriage device to carry the reagent bottle 10 to the reagent disk 9, a reagent preparation unit to perform preparatory operations required before the regent bottle 10 is used, and a control unit 21 to schedule the preparatory operations by the reagent preparation unit and the carriage operation by the carriage device such that the reagent bottle 10 is carried to the reagent disk 9 immediately after an operation accompanied with analysis by the light source 4a and the spectrophotometer 4 is suspended or ends.
System providing an ultrasonic pretreatment for separating particles from an analysis sample
The object of the invention is to perform, rapidly and at a low cost, a pretreatment of an analysis sample containing a turbid substance. Provided is an analysis sample pretreatment apparatus in which a clarified liquid is obtained by removing a turbid substance from an analysis sample. The analysis sample pretreatment apparatus includes a cell configured to store the analysis sample, and a cell holder in which at least a part of a housing is opened to mount the cell. The cell holder includes an ultrasonic wave transducer and an ultrasonic wave reflection plate that are disposed on facing plane pairs while sandwiching the cell mounted inside the cell holder. The cell includes a first opening unit from which the analysis sample flows in, a second opening unit from which the clarified liquid flows out, and a third opening unit from which the turbid substance is discharged. In a state where the cell is mounted in the cell holder, the first opening unit is provided at a position lower than an upper end of the ultrasonic wave transducer in a vertical direction, or at a position higher than a lower end of the ultrasonic wave transducer in the vertical direction.
