CONNECTION CABLE WITH VOLTAGE LEVEL INDICATOR
Systems and methods are disclosed for determining an input voltage level of an input voltage received by a connection cable. A monitoring component may determine whether the input voltage level matches one of a plurality of voltage levels. The connection cable may include an indicator component that may indicate which of the plurality of voltage levels matches the input voltage level.

A device includes a control circuit, a scope circuit, and a time-to-current converter. The control circuit is configured to receive a voltage signal from a voltage-controlled oscillator, delay the voltage signal for a delay time to generate a first control signal, and to generate a second control signal according to the first control signal and the voltage signal. The scope circuit is configured to generate a first current signal in response to the second control signal and the voltage signal. The time-to-current converter is configured generate a second current signal according to the first control signal, the voltage signal, a first switch signal, and a test control signal.

Measurement apparatus and method for digital data acquisition. A first operation mode is provided for real-time processing of digital data having a reduced sample rate or resolution. Furthermore, a second operation mode is provided for processing the measurement signal off-line with a higher accuracy. In particular, the high accuracy data may be temporarily stored and analyzed upon the operation mode is changed from the real-time mode to the off-line mode.
CAPACITIVE NON-CONTACT VOLTAGE SENSING METHOD AND APPARATUS
A non-contact electric potential meter system to determine voltage between an AC conductor and a reference potential without direct electrical contact to the conductor. A housing provides a shielded measurement region that excludes other conductors and holds power supply means; an AC voltage sensing mechanism includes a conductive sense plate and an electrical connection to the reference potential. Waveform-sensing electronic circuitry obtains an AC voltage waveform induced by capacitive coupling between the conductor and the conductive sense plate. Capacitance-determining electronic circuitry obtains a scaling factor based on the coupling capacitance formed between the conductor and the conductive sense plate. Signal processing electronic circuitry uses the AC voltage waveform and the coupling capacitance-based scaling factor to obtain the voltage between the conductor and the reference potential.
System and method for remotely displaying data
An electronic device for collecting and displaying measurement data includes a data interface, a processor and a transport interface. The data interface obtains measurement data. The processor is configured to generate portable graphical user interface (GUI) information indicating a visual format corresponding to at least one of the measurement data or the electronic device, and to associate the portable GUI information with the measurement data. The transport interface is configured to deliver the measurement data and the associated portable GUI information to a remote display, enabling the remote display to display the measurement data in accordance with the visual format indicated by the portable GUI information.

A method of animating waveform data includes receiving a waveform array containing waveforms resulting from sweeping one or more parameters from a set of parameters, recovering a clock signal from the waveforms, generating a waveform image from each of the waveforms, rendering the waveform images into video frames to produce an image array of the video frames, selecting at least some of the video frames to play as a video sequence, and playing the video sequence on a display.

A test and measurement instrument contains a composite ADC. A method of operating a composite analog-to-digital converter (ADC), includes receiving an analog signal at a low resolution ADC that operates at a high speed, receiving the analog signal at one or more high resolution ADCs that operate at a resolution higher than the low resolution ADC and at a lower speed than the operating speed of the low resolution ADC, tuning the high resolution ADC to phase align and time align a signal path for the one or more high resolution ADCs to the signal path for the low resolution ADC, producing a spectrum from the low resolution ADC, and producing a portion of the spectrum from the one or more high resolution ADCs.
