Mesh network synchronous power monitoring systems and methods
A system including a transceiver that is in a first device and receives wirelessly or over a powerline and from a second device, (i) a voltage value of a voltage detected between bus bars of a power source, where the power source supplies power to a load, and where the load is distinct from the first and second devices, or (ii) a current value of a current detected by a current sensor and drawn from the power source by the load. A sensing module one of (i) if the transceiver receives the current, detects the voltage and timestamps the voltage value with a first timestamp, and (ii) if the transceiver receives the voltage, determines the current and timestamps the current value with a second timestamp. A parameter module determines a parameter of the load based on the voltage, the current, and the first and second timestamps.
Method and system for radio frequency (RF) spectral imager on an integrated circuit
Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention provide an RF spectrum analyzer on a computer chip, such as an integrated circuit. They may provide RF spectrum analyzer functions on a much smaller scale, which is easier to implement, transport and install in other equipment. They present a single chip solution that is smaller, lighter and more compact than conventional systems. Additionally, they may be put in hand held (or smaller) devices.

Method for classifying a partial discharge in an electrical conductor of a medium voltage electrical device
A method for classifying a partial discharge in an insulator of an electrical conductor of a medium voltage or high voltage electrical device, the method allowing a partial discharge to be classified from between at least one first class and a second class distinct from the first class. The method includes: obtaining a set of samples each corresponding to at least one partial discharge, determining a classification model by automatic learning based on at least one statistical quantity of the samples of the set, acquiring a new sample corresponding to at least one partial discharge, and determining the class of the partial discharge associated with the new sample acquired using the classification model.
