A system is disclosed which eliminates problems caused by surges of electric energy which is generated on a utility customer's property and which is fed back onto a utility-owned service line by maintaining a minimum utility provided percentage (MUPP) of power being provided onto a customer-owned dead-end service line. Where the electric energy generated by a utility customer is incrementally excluded from the customer-owned dead-end service line through a plurality of contactors which are controlled by a 120 volt command line.

In one example, the carrier assembly component is a device comprising a carrier having first and second asymmetrical voids on a surface; a backer on a first side of the surface of the carrier; and first, second, third, and fourth structures on a second side of the carrier connected to the backer via the asymmetrical voids.

Power consumption calculation apparatus, power consumption calculation method and program

A power consumption calculation apparatus identifies, from a history of a total power consumption Wx measured at a facility including power supply equipment, air conditioning equipment, and communication equipment; identifies, for each Wx, an air conditioning efficiency Ra; calculates a power consumption Wc′ in a second area excluding a first area in the facility by applying each Wx and Ra to a relation Wc+Wa+(Wx×Rp)=Wx where Ra is calculated by dividing Wa being a power consumption of the communication equipment by Wa being a power consumption of the air conditioning equipment and Rp is a loss factor of Wx; and calculates a power consumption of the first or second area based on Wx corresponding to a second period in the history, Wc′, Rp, and an air conditioning efficiency Ra′ corresponding to the second period.

Microgrid Power Architecture

Power converters, and microgrids driven by such a power converter, in which the converter is controlled by a proportional controller which operates directly on AC waveforms, preferably without conversion to a DC type signal; preferably with use of voltage compensation to remove inherent error of proportional controller; and preferably with use of individual phase RMS voltages in the voltage compensation, to allow for normal operation under any load condition. Undervoltage of one or two phases is automatically compensated by adjusting the voltage of all phases, to retain balance. Line-starting of a motor load is automatically detected, and frequency droop is driven, apart from the other control relations in the system, to complete the line-starting operation as quickly as possible.
