The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for shielding electromagnetic waves. The system may include an imaging device, a shielding layer assembly disposed on at least a first portion of the imaging device, and a shielding cover assembly disposed on at least a second portion of the imaging device. When the shielding cover assembly is coupled to the shielding layer assembly, the shielding cover assembly and the shielding layer assembly may be combined to form a shielding space that is shielded against electromagnetic waves from an outside of the shielding space.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for shielding electromagnetic waves. The system may include an imaging device, a shielding layer assembly disposed on at least a first portion of the imaging device, and a shielding cover assembly disposed on at least a second portion of the imaging device. When the shielding cover assembly is coupled to the shielding layer assembly, the shielding cover assembly and the shielding layer assembly may be combined to form a shielding space that is shielded against electromagnetic waves from an outside of the shielding space.

The method comprises the steps: (a) determining scan conditions relating to an imaging protocol which is to be carried out on the subject; (b) based on the scan conditions and/or on predetermined reference parameters, determining whether at least one imaging preparation procedure may be omitted or accelerated to have a shortened duration; (c) depending on the determination of step (b), omitting or carrying out the least one imaging preparation procedure at the standard or at the shortened duration; (d) carrying out the imaging protocol in order to acquire the magnetic resonance image dataset.

An eye-tracker camera assembly includes an outer camera tube housing for housing an electronic camera sensor, the outer tube camera housing fabricated of an electrically conductive, non-ferrous material. An eyepiece assembly includes an outer housing. A beam splitter assembly includes a beam splitter block having a receptacle holding a beam splitter, the block formed of an electrically conductive, non-ferrous material. The beam splitter reflects light from the display onto the patient's eye, and allows light reflected from the patient's eye to pass to the camera sensor. In another embodiment as a display system, the eye-tracker camera assembly is omitted.
