INFRARED RAY POSITINING NODE DEVICE AND SYSTEM
Disclosed is an infrared ray positioning node device, including a reflection cup with a plurality of side surfaces; and an infrared ray emitting tube cooperating with the reflection cup and being positioned so that the range of an included angle m formed after the rays emitted by the infrared ray emitting tube reflect off some reflection side surfaces in the plurality of side surfaces is 0°≦m<180°. Also disclosed is an infrared ray positioning node system. The present invention makes the direction of an infrared ray emission signal controllable in the range of 0°-180°, makes the signal stable and even in intensity, improves the radiation utilization of the infrared ray emitting tube, reduces the power consumption of the node device, realizes uniform projection of infrared light, and effectively avoids emission blind areas of a single node and signal interference between adjacent nodes.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC REASSIGNMENT OF AN IDENTIFICATION CODE IN A LIGHT-BASED POSITIONING SYSTEM
In a positioning system, a mobile device can detect a transmission from one of a number of lighting devices to obtain an identification (ID) label or code of each lighting device. The mobile device uses the detected ID code for a lookup in a self-stored or remotely stored table that associates lighting device location information with ID codes, to obtain an estimate of mobile device position. To mitigate against hacking by a third party detecting the ID codes and observing locations to compile its own lookup table, the disclosed examples dynamically alter the assignments of particular ID codes to the lighting devices, while minimizing potential disruption of position determination service for mobile devices due to the changes to ID code assignments.
AUTOMATIC LOCATING OF TARGET MARKS
A target reflector search device. This device comprises an emitting unit for emitting an emission fan, a motorized device for moving the emission fan over a spatial region, and a receiving unit for reflected portions of the emission fan within a fan-shaped acquisition region, and a locating unit for determining a location of the reflection. An optoelectronic detector of the receiving unit is formed as a position-resolving optoelectronic detector having a linear arrangement of a plurality of pixels, each formed as an SPAD array, and the receiving unit comprises an optical system having an imaging fixed-focus optical unit, wherein the optical system and the optoelectronic detector are arranged and configured in such a way that portions of the optical radiation reflected from a point in the acquisition region are expanded on the sensitivity surface of the optoelectronic detector in such a way that blurry imaging takes place.
LANYARD SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A MARINE VESSEL
A method and system for controlling a marine vessel is configured to operate a lanyard system to detect at least one fob worn by an individual present on the marine vessel and determine that a missing fob of the at least one fob is no longer detected, wherein the missing fob is either an operator fob or a passenger fob. A man overboard event is generated based on the missing fob, wherein the man overboard event is an operator overboard event if the missing fob includes the operator fob or a passenger overboard event if the missing fob is the passenger fob. One or more search assistance functions are automatically activated based on the man overboard event, wherein the search assistance functions activated depend on whether the man overboard event is the operator overboard event or the passenger overboard event.
HIGH-PRECISION ANTI-INTERFERENCE VR SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD
Provided is a high-precision anti-interference VR system, including a data selection module, a headset, and a handle matched with the headset, the data selection module selects and invokes an optical tracking module group and an electromagnetic tracking module group according to an optical FOV range; the optical tracking module group includes an optical display module and an optical tracking module, the optical display module emits a physical signal by adjusting on-off and brightness thereof; the optical tracking module obtains the physical signal emitted by the optical display module, and converts the physical signal into tracking information of the handle; the electromagnetic tracking module group includes an electromagnetic emission module and an electromagnetic receiving module, the electromagnetic emission module generates an electromagnetic signal through a driving circuit, and transmits the electromagnetic signal; and the electromagnetic receiving module receives the electromagnetic signal to complete electromagnetic tracking.
Tracking beacon system
An example tracking signal device comprises a housing and a light source disposed within the housing. A window is defined within the housing optically downstream of the light source. The device further comprises a sensor configured to receive a first beam of radiation and a controller operably coupled to (i) the light source and (ii) the sensor. The controller is configured to control the light source to emit a second beam of radiation based at least in part on receipt of the first beam of radiation by the sensor.
POSITION MEASURING SYSTEM, POSITION MEASURING DEVICE, AND POSITION MEASURING METHOD
It is an object of the present invention to provide a position measuring system, a position measuring device, and a method for measuring a position that can accurately measure the position of an object to be measured without being limited by an environment or an optical axis.
A position measuring device 20 according to the present invention is characterized by including a light receiving unit 21 configured to receive scattered light Lsc emitted from a side surface of an optical fiber 50, a database 22 configured to store a correspondence between information on the scattered light and a position of the object to be measured, and a determination unit 23 configured to determine, based on the correspondence stored in the database, a position of the object to be measured from information on the scattered light received by the light receiving unit.
Lanyard system and method for a marine vessel
A vessel control system for a marine vessel propelled by at least one propulsion device includes a wireless lanyard system including at least one fob worn by an individual on the marine vessel and a helm transceiver at a helm area of the marine vessel configured to receive radio signals from the at least one fob. A controller is configured to detect, based on communications between each of the at least one fob and the helm transceiver, that each of the at least one fob is present on the marine vessel. A missing fob is detected if at least one of the fobs is no longer detected at the helm transceiver, and then a man overboard event is generated. The vessel control system is configured to automatically activate one or more search assistance functions based on the man overboard event.
ELECTROMAGNETIC TRACKING WITH AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEMS
Head-mounted augmented reality (AR) devices can track pose of a wearer's head to provide a three-dimensional virtual representation of objects in the wearer's environment. An electromagnetic (EM) tracking system can track head or body pose. A handheld user input device can include an EM emitter that generates an EM field, and the head-mounted AR device can include an EM sensor that senses the EM field. EM information from the sensor can be analyzed to determine location and/or orientation of the sensor and thereby the wearer's pose. The EM emitter and sensor may utilize time division multiplexing (TDM) or dynamic frequency tuning to operate at multiple frequencies. Voltage gain control may be implemented in the transmitter, rather than the sensor, allowing smaller and lighter weight sensor designs. The EM sensor can implement noise cancellation to reduce the level of EM interference generated by nearby audio speakers.
