OPTICAL TESTING APPARATUS
An optical testing apparatus is used in testing an optical measuring instrument that provides incident light from a light source to an incident object and receives reflected light of the incident light at the incident object. The apparatus includes an incident light receiving section, a light signal providing section, an imaging section, and an optical axis misalignment deriving section. The incident light receiving section receives incident light. The light signal providing section provides a light signal to an incident object after a predetermined delay time since the incident light receiving section has received the incident light. The imaging section images the incident light. The optical axis misalignment deriving section derives misalignment of the optical axis of the incident light with respect to the incident light receiving section based on misalignment between the incident light receiving section and the imaging section as well as an imaging result with the imaging section.

BIN SENSOR
A method comprises emitting detection radiation into a container; receiving a reflection of the emitted radiation from contents of the container; interpreting the received reflection to determine the contents of the container.
CONSTRUCTION SITE DIGITAL FIELD BOOK FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL SCANNERS
A method, system, and computer product that track scanning data acquired by a three-dimensional (3D) coordinate scanner is provided. The method includes storing a digital representation of an environment in memory of a mobile computing device. A first scan is performed with the 3D coordinate scanner in an area of the environment. A location of the first scan is determined on the digital representation. The first scan is registered with the digital representation. The location of the 3D coordinate scanner is indicated on the digital representation at the time of the first scan.
FLASH LIGHT DETECTION AND RANGING SYSTEM HAVING ADJUSTABLE FIELD OF VIEW
In some examples, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises: an illuminator having an adjustable field of view (FOV), the FOV being adjusted based on setting a direction of propagation of light to illuminate the FOV; a light detector; and a controller configured to: control the illuminator to project the light along a first direction of propagation to illuminate a first FOV; control the illuminator to project the light along a second direction of propagation to illuminate a second FOV; detect, using the light detector, reflected light received from the first FOV and the second FOV to generate one or more detection outputs for a combined FOV including the first FOV and the second FOV; and perform at least one of a detection operation or a ranging operation of an object in the combined FOV based on the one or more detection outputs.
MULTI-BODY COHERENT APERTURE SYNTHESIS
An antenna is provided with sub-apertures whose relative locations change and that are not connected via a mechanical link. a Multi-Body Coherent Aperture Synthesis system supports an antenna with sub-aperture devices that collect views, collect (using an optical link) ranging information (that includes timing information) relating to distance between sub-aperture devices, and transmit the collected views and ranging information to a master device. The master device synthesizes the collected views into a synthesized image based on the ranging information.

Optoelectronic sensor, method and vehicle
An optoelectronic sensor, including a transmitting unit for transmitting a plurality of optical signals in each case to a plurality of segments of an object, and a receiving unit that includes a first multichannel analog-digital converter device, including: an analog-digital converter unit; a plurality of signal processing channels, the signal processing channels of the plurality of signal processing channels in each case including: a detection antenna for receiving optical signals; and a modulator for generating an individual signal encoding. Signals of the plurality of signal processing channels, with individual signal encoding, are transmittable together to the analog-digital converter unit, are converted, and may be associated once again with the corresponding signal processing channels due to the individual signal encoding via algorithms.
