A lighting body for a vehicle includes a housing, an outer lens configured to form a lamp chamber between the housing and the outer lens, a millimeter wave radar disposed outside the lamp chamber and transmits millimeter waves toward a side outward of the vehicle, and a light source disposed in the lamp chamber and emits light toward the side outward of the vehicle through the outer lens, the millimeter wave radar being held in the housing in a state the millimeter wave radar is combined with the housing from an inward side of the vehicle, a first functional membrane allows penetration of the millimeter waves and allows penetration and reflection of the light being formed on the outer lens, and a second functional membrane allows penetration of the millimeter waves and allows at least reflection of the light reflected by the first functional membrane being formed on the housing.

A vehicle sensor device (1) includes an outer cover (12), a sensor unit (20) that transmits and receives an electromagnetic wave through the outer cover (12) and outputs a signal related to the electromagnetic wave incident on an inner side of the outer cover (12), a heater (30) that is provided in the outer cover (12) and heats a transmission region (AR) of the outer cover (12) through which the electromagnetic wave emitted from the sensor unit (20) passes, and a control unit (CO). The control unit (CO) outputs a detection signal of an object located outside the outer cover (12) based on the signal from the sensor unit (20) in at least a part of a period in which the heater (30) is OFF, and stops outputting of the detection signal in at least a part of a period in which the heater (30) is ON.

The light guide is generally planar and the light source illuminates the light guide from an edge, or side, to illuminate the length of the light guide. A housing for the sensing system has a surface configured to reflect or diffract light from the light source towards the surrounding environment.

LiDAR integrated lamp device for vehicle

Disclosed is a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)-integrated lamp device configured for a vehicle. In the included LiDAR-integrated lamp device, the position at which a head lamp is applied and the position at which a LiDAR is applied are identical and then, a reduction in layout is achieved.
