Providing user equipment (UE) location information during an emergency call
A solution for providing user equipment (UE) location information during an emergency call (e.g., an E911 call) includes: detecting an emergency call originating from the UE; determining a location of the UE; based on at least detecting the emergency call originating from the UE, transmitting the location of the UE across a cellular network to an emergency monitoring node (e.g., a public safety answering points (PSAP) and/or a gateway mobile location center (GMLC)); and based on at least detecting the emergency call originating from the UE, transmitting the location of the UE across a packet data network (e.g., the internet, using a data plan) to the emergency monitoring node. This provides an alternate path for the location information, and some examples use a larger set of location information sources. In some examples, during the emergency call, based on available battery power, the UE location information may be updated.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR POSITIONING, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are a method and device for positioning, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: receiving a positioning indication, herein the positioning indication indicates positioning of a first item, and the first item has a first electronic tag; obtaining RSSIs of a plurality of second electronic tags, herein the plurality of second electronic tags include the first electronic tag; determining, based on the RSSIs of the plurality of second electronic tags, at least one third electronic tag; and positioning, through the at least one third electronic tag, the first item.
ASSET TRACKING
Systems, asset tag devices, and methods are described herein to provide asset, or object, tracking using a plurality of beacons. The asset tag devices may be affixed, or coupled to, the asset, or object, and may receive beacon advertising packets from the beacons, and then transmit, or broadcast, tag advertising packets including information from the received beacon advertising packets, which may be used to determine an approximate location of the asset tag device, and in turn, the asset or object.
ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An access management system includes a mobile device with a processor and a memory and a software platform including at least a processor and a memory. The software platform is configured to analyze data obtained from an access management device and other devices connected to the software platform. Other devices connected to the platform include robots, such as aerial robots, which are configured to detect motion and engage with an object connected to the motion detection. An enclosure is operable to house an aerial robot and provides for ease of addition of the aerial robot to a security or entry management system by providing an easily installable package. The enclosure provides the advantages of simple deployment and charging of aerial robots.
Method, system and apparatus for navigational assistance
An assistive navigational system for deployment in a facility having a global frame of reference includes: a server including a memory storing: a plurality of anchor definitions each containing (i) an anchor position in the global frame of reference, and (ii) a feature set corresponding to physical characteristics of the facility at the anchor position; and a task definition containing (i) a task position defined relative to the anchor position, and (ii) task overlay data; the server further including a communications interface, and a processor configured to: select one of the anchor definitions for association with the task definition; and transmit the selected anchor definition and the task definition to a mobile computing device, the mobile computing device configured to receive the selected anchor definition and the task definition; the mobile computing device further configured to present the task overlay data on a display.
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND POSITION INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD
A communication apparatus detects a wireless device and calculates a relative position of the detected wireless device with respect to a reference wireless device to be a reference in identifying a position based on a movement amount of the communication apparatus from when the reference wireless device is detected by the communication apparatus. The communication apparatus associates the calculated relative position, identification information about the detected wireless device, and identification information about the reference wireless device.
Assisted positioning for indoor positioning services
Inter-alia, a method is disclosed comprising: receiving one or more beacon signals sent by one or more beacon devices (140-1-140-5); determining one or more identifier information of the one or more beacon devices, wherein the one or more identifier information of the one or more beacon devices are represented by the one or more beacon signals; and broadcasting or triggering broadcasting broadcast information for enabling determining of a position of the at least one first apparatus based at least partially on the determined one or more identifier information of the one or more beacon devices, wherein the broadcast information at least partially comprises or represents the determined one or more identifier information of the one or more beacon devices. It is further disclosed an according apparatus, computer program and system.
Tracking device operation in safety-classified zone
Tracking devices can be associated with safe zones, smart zones, and high risk zones. Safe zones correspond to regions where a likelihood that a tracking device is lost within the safe zone is lower than outside the safe zone. High risk zones correspond to regions where a likelihood that a tracking device is lost within the high risk zone is higher than outside the high risk zone. Smart zones correspond to an expected tracking device, mobile device, or user behavior. Home areas are geographic regions in which a user resides, and travel areas are geographic regions in which a user does not reside. A tracking device can be configured to operate in a mode selected based on a presence of the tracking device within a safe zone, a smart zone, a high risk zone, a home area, or a travel area.
System and method for managing waste services
A system is disclosed for managing waste services. The system may have a locating device configured to generate a signal indicative of a location of a service vehicle on a roadway, a communication device, and a controller in communication with the locating and communication devices. The controller may be configured to determine a side of the roadway at which a first target location is currently being serviced by the service vehicle, and to determine based on the signal from the locating device a proximity of the service vehicle to a second target location at which the waste services are to be performed. The second target location may be on the same side of the roadway as the first target location. The controller may also be configured to automatically provide via the communicating device an estimated time of arrival to a customer corresponding to the second target location, based on the proximity.
LOGISTICS CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A logistics control system includes a server configured to receive information on signal strengths of the signal, which is transmitted from the logistics device, from the at least three base station, specify a departure area of the logistics device using at least three signal strengths, specify a first travel area to which the logistics device is moved using azimuth and travel distance information received from the logistics device on the basis of the departure area after a certain time elapses, specify a second travel area to which the logistics device is moved using at least three signal strengths, and specify a presence area where the first travel area and the second travel area overlap as a location to which the logistics device is moved.
