Anatomically intelligent echochardiography for point-of-care

An apparatus includes an imaging probe and is configured for dynamically arranging presentation of visual feedback for guiding manual adjustment, via the probe, of a location, and orientation, associated with the probe. The arranging is selectively based on comparisons between fields of view of the probe and respective results of segmenting image data acquired via the probe. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a sensor which guides a decision that acoustic coupling quality is insufficient, the apparatus issuing a user alert upon the decision.

Flasher type multi-frequency fish finder

The flasher-type multi-frequency fish finder includes a wideband ultrasonic transducer, a display-rotating disk, a motor and a control device. The plurality of display LEDs are composed of the first, second and third display LEDs. The control device has a signal-separating and obtaining part and a light-emission signal-producing part. The signal-separating and obtaining part separates the reflected signal and obtains the first reflected signal corresponding to the high frequency, the second reflected signal corresponding to the medium frequency, and the third reflected signal corresponding to the low frequency. The light-emission signal-producing part generates first, second and third light-emission signals based on the first, second and third reflection signals, respectively. The first, second and third annular-display regions are concentrically set on the display surface. Underwater detection results by high frequency, medium frequency and low frequency ultrasonic waves are simultaneously indicated by a flashing light in the first, second and third annular-display regions.

Provided is an ultrasound apparatus including: a transmitter configured to generate and output a transmission signal; an ultrasound probe configured to convert the transmission signal output from the transmitter into an ultrasound signal and transmit the ultrasound signal to a target object, and receive an echo signal reflected from the target object and output a reception signal on the basis of the echo-signal; a transmission/reception switch configured to attenuate the transmission signal output from the transmitter and output the attenuated transmission signal, and output the reception signal output from the ultrasound probe; and a receiver configured to receive the attenuated and output transmission signal and the output reception signal, and detect transmission waveform information on the basis of the attenuated transmission signal.

Workflow assistance for medical doppler ultrasound evaluation

Systems, devices, and methods are provided to provide workflow assistance to an operator during a medical imaging procedure, such as a Doppler ultrasound evaluation of a body vessel of a subject. A sensor such as a gyroscope (128) may be integrated in an external ultrasound probe (102). Workflow assistance may be provided to position the ultrasound probe (102) to make accurate flow measurements of fluid within the vessel, such as by coupling system color flow information with gyroscope angles. The workflow assistance may also assist a user in identifying a perpendicular orientation of the ultrasound to be used as a reference in making Doppler measurements. The system may also be used to create a vessel map.

ULTRASOUND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GUIDED SHEAR WAVE ELASTOGRAPHY OF ANISOTROPIC TISSUE

The present disclosure includes ultrasound systems and methods for imaging anisotropic tissue with shear wave elastography at a variety of angles with respect to the tissue. An example ultrasound imaging system includes a probe coupled to a position tracking system for tracking a position of the probe with respect to a subject, and a processor in communication with the probe. The processor may receive position tracking data from the position tracking system. The processor may define at least one target plane in anisotropic tissue, determine a difference between a current position of the probe and the position of the target plane, and provide a visual indicator of the difference, wherein the processor dynamically updates the visual indicator responsive to a change in the position of the imaging plane with respect to the target plane.

Ultrasound system and method of providing guide for improved HPRF doppler image

Provided is an ultrasound system configured to detect a flow noise signal at a phantom gate and display a visual indictor representing the detected flow noise signal. The ultrasound system transmits ultrasound signals to an object including a sample volume and receives echo signals from the sample volume and at least one phantom gate. The ultrasound system also generates an ultrasound image based on the received echo signals and displays the generated ultrasound image. Furthermore, the ultrasound system detects a flow noise signal at the at least one phantom gate by using the echo signals and displays a visual indicator representing the detected flow noise signal together with the ultrasound image.
