METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ELIMINATING SEISMIC ACQUISITION FOOTPRINT THROUGH GEOLOGICAL GUIDANCE
Systems and method are claimed for forming an artifact attenuated seismic image. The method includes obtaining an input seismic image, selecting a seismic partition from the input seismic image and determining a seismic dip for the seismic partition. The method further includes determining flattened seismic partition from the seismic partition based, at least in part, on the seismic dip, determining a filtered seismic partition from the flattened seismic partition, and determining an unflattened seismic segment based on the filtered seismic partition. The method still further includes determining the artifact attenuated seismic image based on the unflattened seismic segment. The system includes a seismic source, a plurality of seismic receivers for detecting and recording an observed seismic dataset generated by the radiated seismic wave; and a seismic processor configured form the artifact attenuated seismic image.

A method of registering geological data at a formation core tracking system includes, at the tracking system, registering a formation core provided within a field of view of an optical imaging system of the tracking system; tracking the orientation of the formation core relative to the tracking system and the distance of the formation core relative to the tracking system; obtaining data associated with a first section of the formation core which is located at a predetermined distance from the tracking system, displaying the data together with an image of the formation core such that an augmented reality image is provided on a display device of the tracking system, changing the distance between the tracking system and the core; and updating the displayed data by obtaining data associated with a second section of the formation core which is located at said predetermined distance from the tracking system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING DEPTH UNCERTAINTY VALUES AS A FUNCTION OF POSITION IN A SUBSURFACE VOLUME OF INTEREST
Systems and methods for estimating reservoir productivity as a function of position in a subsurface volume of interest are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain an initial depth uncertainty model; obtain training depth uncertainty parameter values from the non-transient storage medium; obtain corresponding training depth uncertainty values; generate a trained depth uncertainty model by training the initial depth uncertainty model using the training depth uncertainty parameter values and the corresponding training depth uncertainty values; and store the trained depth uncertainty model.

A method for seismic processing includes extracting, using a first machine learning model, one or more seismic features from seismic data representing a subsurface domain, receiving one or more well logs representing one or more subsurface properties in the subsurface domain, and predicting, using a second machine learning model, the one or more subsurface properties in the subsurface domain at a location that does not correspond to an existing well based on the seismic data, the one or more well logs, and the one or more seismic features that were extracted from the seismic data.
Methods and systems for processing borehole dispersive waves with a physics-based machine learning analysis
Systems and methods are provided for determining a formation body wave slowness from an acoustic wave. Waveform data is determined by logging tool measuring the acoustic wave. Wave features are determined from the waveform data and a model is applied to the wave features to determine data-driven scale factors The data-driven scale factors can be used to determine a body wave slowness within a surrounding borehole environment and the body wave slowness can be used to determine formation characteristics of the borehole environment.

Accurate rendering of acoustic images
A device, system and method to process acoustic images of tubulars and wellbores. Corrections for real-world logging are calculated and stored in correction Look Up Tables (LUT), which are used to display projections or create geometric models of the wellbore or tubular. The user interface allows the user to interact with the projections to update the LUTs to operate on the images. This process helps correct for real-world challenges such as tool eccentricity, tool rotation, tool angle, and speed of sound differences in order to create a more intuitive rendering.
Infill monitoring using the three-dimensional Fresnel zone of a migration operator
Implementations for monitoring seismic data recorded in a marine survey of a subterranean formation for coverage gaps are described herein. Implementations include computing Fresnel sum operators for Fresnel zones of the subterranean formation based on a Kirchhoff migration impulse response at horizons of a representative plane layer model of a survey area of the subterranean formation. Implementations also include computing an acceptability map of the survey area based on the Fresnel sum operators. The acceptability map reveals coverage gaps in the survey area. Geoscientist may use the acceptability map to infill seismic data in areas of the survey area that correspond to the coverage gaps.

The feature-likelihood attribute comprises a value for elements of the section, the value being based on a likelihood that the element represents part of a subterranean feature. The method also includes identifying contours of the subterranean feature based in part on the feature-likelihood attribute of the section, and determining a polygonal line that approximates the subterranean feature.
