A variable magnification optical system (ZL) comprises a front group (GA) and a rear group (GB). The rear group (GB) has a first focusing lens group (GF1) and a second focusing lens group (GF2). From focusing on an object at infinity to focusing on a short-distance object, the front group (GA) is fixed with respect to an image surface, and the first focusing lens group (GF1) and the second focusing lens group (GF2) move on different trajectories along an optical axis. The variable magnification system satisfies the following conditional expressions.

The technology of this application relates to a zoom lens, a camera module, and a mobile terminal. The zoom lens includes a plurality of lens groups, for example, a first lens group, a second lens group, a third lens group, a fourth lens group, and a fifth lens group that are arranged from an object side to an image side. The first lens group is a lens group with a positive focal power, the second lens group is a lens group with a negative focal power, and the third lens group is a lens group with a positive focal power. The fourth lens group is a lens group with a positive focal power or a negative focal power, and the fifth lens group is a lens group with a positive focal power or a negative focal power.
Zoom lens and image pickup apparatus
A zoom lens includes, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens unit having a positive refractive power, a second lens unit having a negative refractive power, a third lens unit having a positive refractive power, and one or more rear lens units. The first lens unit does not move for zooming. An interval between each pair of adjacent lens units changes in zooming. The first lens unit includes a positive lens made of material with an Abbe number less than 30. A predetermined condition is satisfied.

A zoom lens includes a first lens group having a positive refractive power, a second lens group having a negative refractive power, and a rear group, sequentially from an object side. Intervals between lens groups varies when changing magnification. A lens group having a highest negative refractive power among a lens group having a negative refractive power in the rear group is a focusing lens group GF configured to move toward an image side when focusing from infinity to a close range. A lens group GFF having a positive refractive power and arranged adjacent to an object side of the focusing lens group GF among a lens group having a positive refractive power included in the rear group includes a positive lens component L1 positioned on a most image side, which includes a positive lens L1P having a refractive index NdL1P, and a conditional expression (1) 1.85<NdL1P is satisfied.

A camera module includes: an optical imaging system including a frontmost lens disposed closest to an object side, a rearmost lens disposed closest to an imaging plane, and at least one middle lens disposed between the frontmost lens and the rearmost lens. An image-side surface of the rearmost lens is concave and an inflection point is formed on the image-side surface of the rearmost lens. 0.2 < D/TTL is satisfied, D being a shortest distance between the rearmost lens and the imaging plane, and TTL being a distance from an object-side surface of the frontmost lens to the imaging plane.

A zoom lens includes, in order from an object side, a first lens group G1 having a positive focal length, a second lens group G2 having a negative focal length, a third lens group G3 including an aperture stop S and having a positive focal length, a fourth lens group G4 having a negative focal length, and a rear side lens group G5. The first lens group includes a negative lens and a positive lens disposed in order from a most object side. The first lens group and the third lens group are fixed in power varying from a wide angle end to a telephoto end. The second lens group moves from the object side to an image side in the power varying. The zoom lens satisfies following conditional expressions (1) and (2).

OPTICAL IMAGING SYSTEM
An optical imaging system includes a lens unit including at least three lenses; an image sensor that moves along an optical axis direction and receives light that has passed through the lens unit; and a reflective member disposed on an object side of the lens unit and having a reflective surface to change a path of light. The optical imaging system satisfies 0<(SAS/f)/OD<0.15, where SAS is a moving distance of the image sensor along the optical axis direction, f is a total focal length of the lens unit, and OD is an object distance.
