According to one aspect of the technique of the present disclosure, there is provided a mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal includes a main body, a display disposed at a front surface of the main body, a first camera group disposed at the front surface and including one or more cameras, a second camera group disposed at a rear surface of the main body that is opposite to the front surface and including one or more cameras, a third camera disposed at a first installation surface of the main body, which is different from the front surface and the rear surface, and an operation processor configured to: (a) display on the display an image selected from among a first image received through the first camera group, a second image received through the second camera group, and a third image received through the third camera.

DIFFRACTIVE OPTIC REFLEX SIGHT
20230221572 · 2023-07-13 ·

A diffractive optic reflex sight (DORS) is provided for aiming devices in which a virtual image, such as a reticle, is produced and appears in the distance of a user's view when looking through the reflex sight. A light source illuminates a diffractive optical element (DOE) that includes a modulation pattern that generates a patterned illuminations corresponding with the virtual image. A reflective image combiner then reflects the patterned illumination so that the virtual image appears in the distance of the viewer's view. The DORS optical design system is mechanically and optically stable for precision aiming across a range of environmental conditions and in different use scenarios or applications including use in rapidly changing temperatures, varying light conditions, and a wide range of user proficiencies. The DORS optical design system is a readily manufacturable aiming and sighting device for a wide range of applications from handguns to astronomical telescopes.

WEAPON SYSTEM WITH MULTI-FUNCTION SINGLE-VIEW SCOPE

Certain aspects of a novel weapon sight system combine a direct view, a visible light video view, and an infrared (IR) video view mode. Each of the view modes may be viewed individually or simultaneously with one or more of the other view modes through a single viewing aperture. Further, the one or more view-modes may be provided while providing a bore-sighted reticle superimposed on the selected view. Further, the reticle may be powered separately from the video view electronics enabling use of the reticle regardless of the power status video view electronics.

Compact spectrometers and instruments including them

A spectrometer with a Schmidt reflector is described. The spectrometer may include a Schmidt corrector and a dispersive element as separate components. Alternatively, the Schmidt corrector and dispersive element may be combined into a single optical component. The spectrometer may further include a field-flattener lens.

LARGE SCALABLE APERTURE-COMBINED OPTICAL TELESCOPE

It comprises optical assemblies that focus light onto individual first optical fibers which are combined together in a final single optical fiber, collecting a considerable amount of light from a target, to feed an instrument such as a spectrograph. The first optical fibers are kept centred on the target through image devices that also provide images, and these images can be combined to give rise to a high-quality image of the field surrounding the target. The final effective aperture of the device is scalable, using different numbers of optical assemblies and depending on their diameters.

TELESCOPE AND SENSOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A system comprises a sensor subsystem for imaging an object space, and a telescope for coupling electromagnetic energy from the object space to the sensor subsystem. The system comprises a bypass optical path that bypasses the telescope on the way to the sensor subsystem in order to provide a larger field of view of the object space. The bypass path and the telescope path merge at a merging point between the telescope and the sensor subsystem, and are disjoint upstream of the merging point. A simple bypass configuration is therefore provided, with possibly just a single fold mirror at the merging point. A sensor may form an intermediate image, and a frame is placed at the intermediate image to reject stray radiation and provide a real and accessible intermediate pupil for the sensor. Other features are also provided.
