An optical lens for magnifying a reflection in a mirror is disclosed herein. The optical lens comprises a conical concave surface located on a first side of the optical lens and a conical convex surface located on a second side of the optical lens opposite the first side. An optical axis of the optical lens is formed along a central portion of the conical concave surface and a central portion of the conical convex surface. The conical concave surface has a first radius of curvature and the conical convex surface has a second radius of curvature greater in magnitude than the first radius of curvature. At least a portion of the conical concave surface is self-adherable to a mirror. When at least the portion of the conical concave surface is self-adhered to the mirror, the optical lens is configured to magnify mirror images viewed through the optical lens and the mirror.

DIGITAL MAGNIFIER MONOCLE AND RELATIVE EYEWEAR

A digital magnifier monocle may include an eyepiece, a lens, an organic light-emitting diode screen placed between the eyepiece and the lens, and a first electronic module for the generation of a digital image. The first electronic module may be placed between the screen and the lens. The monocle may also have a second electronic module placed between the screen and the first electronic module. The second electronic module may be divided into a first unit configured for the transmission of a digital image from the first electronic module to the screen, and a second unit configured for connection with an augmented reality engine and/or the transmission of said at least one digital image from the monocle to a unit outside of the monocle. The unit external to the monocle being may be designed for the storage of the image.

VISUAL LOUPES WITH POINT OF VIEW MODIFICATION

A device can include glasses including one or more lenses that permit a wearer a broad view of the environment from a first perspective and contact members having one or more contact-surfaces formed to secure the glasses to a head of the wearer while the wearer is wearing the device. The device can include one or more loupes, each loupe including a redirection member structured to redirect image light that is received by the loupe; one or more magnifying members structured to magnify the image light; a viewport structured to allow passage of the magnified image light. The loupe is secured through one of the lenses such that the magnified image light is presented though the viewport to an eye of the wearer while the wearer is wearing the device.

MEDICAL ILLUMINATOR FLEXIBLE LED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD ASSEMBLY AND METHOD

A device for variable polarization by an illumination device for illuminating organic tissue. The device includes a first set of one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs), a first polarizer arranged to polarize light emitted from the first set of LEDs in a first polarization direction, a second set of one or more LEDs, a second polarizer arranged to polarize light emitted from the second set of LEDs in a second polarization direction. A lens is arranged to collect light from organic tissue illuminated by the first and/or second sets of LEDs including a viewing polarizer arranged to polarize the light collected from the organic tissue in the second polarization direction. A signal generator is operable to signal one or more drivers for driving one of the first and second sets according a signal value and driving the other of the first and second sets according to an inverse value thereof.
