A non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions which, when executed by a processor, cause a system to perform the above method, and the system, are also provided.

WEARABLE DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING IMAGING SURFACE THEREOF
20230048475 · 2023-02-16 ·

The present application relates to the technical field of virtual reality. Disclosed are a wearable display device and a method for adjusting an imaging surface thereof. The motor drive assembly in the wearable display device can control the rotation of motors according to a rotation mode carried in a motor control instruction received by a processor, or adjust the rotation speed of the motors according to a speed control parameter carried in the motor control instruction received by the processor. Moreover, the rotation of the motors can adjust the position of an imaging surface, and a change in the position of the imaging face will change the distance between the imaging surface and a user wearing the wearable display device. Therefore, in addition to being used for watching movies or playing games, the wearable display device can also function as an eye protector, and the wearable display device has abundant functions.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IDENTIFYING OBJECT OF INTEREST OF USER
20230046258 · 2023-02-16 ·

The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for identifying an object of interest of a user. One example method includes obtaining information about a line-of-sight-gazed region of the user and an environment image corresponding to the user, obtaining information about a first gaze region of the user in the environment image based on the environment image, where the first gaze region is used to indicate a sensitive region determined by using a physical feature of a human body, and obtaining a target gaze region of the user based on the information about the line-of-sight-gazed region and the information about the first gaze region. The gaze region is used to indicate a region in which a target object gazed by the user in the environment image is located.

NEAR-EYE DISPLAY DEVICE

The present invention relates to a near-eye display device. The a near-eye display device includes a display, a first lens disposed in front of the display so as to be spaced apart from the display by a predetermined distance, a dynamic aperture adjustment element disposed adjacent to the first lens to dynamically control an aperture size of the first lens and a horizontal position of the aperture on a plane perpendicular to an optical axis, a main optics lens disposed to be spaced apart from the first lens by a predetermined distance, and a control system configured to control the dynamic aperture adjustment element.

A Head Mounted Display (HMD) includes a pixel array having multiple pixels configured in a two-dimensional surface, each pixel providing multiple light beams forming an image provided to a user. The HMD also includes a first optical element configured to provide a central portion of a field of view for the image through an eyebox that limits a volume including a pupil of the user, and a second optical element configured to provide a peripheral portion of the field of view for the image through the eyebox, wherein the peripheral portion of the field of view comprises at least one steradian of a user's field of view at a resolution of at least fifteen arcminutes.

ANGULAR LIGHT SENSOR AND EYE-TRACKING

Angular sensors that may be used in eye-tracking systems are disclosed. An eye-tracking system may include a plurality of light sources to emit illumination light and a plurality of angular light sensors to receive returning light that is the illumination light reflecting from an eyebox region. The angular light sensors may output angular signals representing an angle of incidence of the returning light.

Method and device for carrying out eye gaze mapping

The invention relates to a device and a method for performing an eye gaze mapping (M), in which at least one point of vision (B) and/or a viewing direction of at least one person (10) in relation to at least one scene recording (S) of a scene (12) viewed by the at least one person (10) is mapped onto a reference (R). At least a part of an algorithm (A1, A2, A3) for performing the eye gaze mapping (M) is thereby selected from multiple predetermined algorithms (A1, A2, A3) as a function of at least one parameter (P), and the eye gaze mapping (M) is performed on the basis of the at least one part of the algorithm (A1, A2, A3).
