The optical anti-counterfeiting element includes: a substrate, wherein the substrate includes a first surface and a second surface opposite each other; a micrographic layer formed on the second surface of the substrate, wherein the micrographic layer includes a micro-graphic-text region showing a preset graphic-text information and a background region, at least part of the micro-graphic-text region or the background region is covered with a small reflection surface, and the small reflection surface is covered with a color modulation structure; and a sampling layer formed on the first surface of the substrate, wherein the sampling layer is configured for sampling the micro-graphic-text layer and composing, with sampled graphics, the preset graphic-text information of a preset color showing a moire magnification effect. A colored anti-counterfeiting feature with a color varying effect showing a moire magnification effect can be generated without coloring.

OPTICALLY VARIABLE SECURITY ELEMENT
20230057603 · 2023-02-23 ·

An optically variable security element is provided for protecting objects of value. The reflective area region includes two independent relief structures, which are arranged at different levels in the z-direction and form a lower-level relief structure and a higher-level relief structure. The higher-level relief structure is supplied with a first reflection-enhancing coating following the relief profile, and the lower-level relief structure is supplied with a second reflection-enhancing coating following the relief profile. The first reflection-enhancing coating is formed in the visible spectral range with a reflection and transmission in the visible spectral range, so that the higher-level relief structure shows a first optically variable effect in a first color, and the lower-level relief structure shows a second optically variable effect through the first reflection-enhancing coating, wherein the second optically variable effect shows itself in a second, different color.

Lenticular products and methods of manufacturing. A lenticular product can include a lenticular sheet having a front surface and a back surface, the front surface including an array of lenticular lenses. Images can be printed on the back surface of the lenticular sheet, and each of the images can be arranged into frames interlaced with other frames corresponding to other images, wherein each of the frames is aligned with a lenticular lense such that light reflected from frames associated with a same image are refracted in a same direction and frames reflected from frames associated with a different image are refracted in a different direction. The lenticular can include a backing layer having a first surface coupled to the back surface of the lenticular sheet and a second surface opposite of the first surface. The backing layer can include instructions and/or images on the second surface representing a sports move.

SECURE LENS LAYER
20170246900 · 2017-08-31 · ·

A secure lens sheet or layer suitable for use in a micro-optic system, which is made up of a plurality of joined fine lens arrays (e.g., joined fine lenticular and/or joined fine non-cylindrical lens arrays), is provided. Each array has a lens pitch different from adjacent or contiguous arrays and/or is orientated in a direction different from adjacent or contiguous arrays. A micro-optic security device, which utilizes the inventive secure lens sheet and one or more overlying or underlying arrangements of micro-sized image icons (e.g., line data), is also provided. The image icon arrangement(s) and the secure lens layer are configured such that one or more synthetic images are projected by the security device. These projected images may show a number of different optical effects. With such a combination lens layer, some regions could be optically active when the device is tilted in one direction, some could be active when tilted in the opposite direction, and some areas could be active when the device is tilted in either (or any) direction. The inventive micro-optic security device may be partially embedded in and/or mounted on a surface of a security article (e.g., paper or polymer security document, label, card), or integrated therein.
